For the screamer, you have to use your ears and listen for banging as a sound cue, when you do hear banging, hide in the safe room and CLOSE THE TRAP DOOR. For the Caller, you will hear the train passing by, when it does, quickly turn the lights off. The phone will ring, DO NOT ANSWER IT.
On nightmare, you have to use the trains passing by as a signal for the Screamer, when the trains stop passing by, or if you see him pass by through the window, that’s your cue to hide. I don’t really think think the caller appears much on nightmare, but if 2 trains appear within 1 or 2 seconds of eachother, then the caller is coming, you already know the drill when you encounter the caller.

TI Lore: (chapters 1-3) You play as henry, a "schizo" (not atcually) guy that crashed his car and got his whole familly killed due to a black figure suddenly appearing on the road, Sarah (the wife) dies the second the crash happens. Jayson (son) stays conscious and runs towards his friends house, but makes a wrong turn and runs into a cave (vhs 3) which is the intruders base, the intruder sees him, goes into base to get something. Jayson runs while it isnt looking. The intruder chases Jayson, and cuts them off, with the Vhs cutting off instantly, Jayson is later revealed to be dead (duh). The intruder then later goes to Henry's house to kill him (Chapter 1 start) Phone lines are down, and Henry must survive till they are restored (fun fact, the line thats "giberish" on the first call actually says "I will rip your face out and leave you to bleed" backwards, yeesh.) Next day, Henry goes to work (Chapter 2 start) The Intruder follows him, but fails to kill him. Henry has enough, and decieds to go to the Intruders mansion because the police did nothing, (Chapter 3 start, only avaiable in single player, i think.) Henry is recording tnis, Henry survies puzzles, and talks to the intruder via phone. Later, (Near the end of the chapter) Henry hears Sarah's Voice?... nope, its the Intruder mimicing her voice. Henry runs out of the mansion, and survives. Chapter 4: The Mineshaft. We play as a unknown person. We get sent down to the mines to demolish it, there isn't much lore to CHP 4 but what's important is that the chapter ends with us leaving that "human" in the shaft and that the person we play as is important. Chapter 5, Mental Hospital. We play as another unknown person. All that's important is that they escape. 6 Lodge we play as a RU-vidr who dies. 7 Hotel, very important, Sarah is the main Demon. Henry hires the dude from the mineshaft (most likely) to find out the truth. 8 subway. We play as the dude in CHP 5 (maybe).
