I've been waiting for around 4 months now, and I still haven't been rolled out voice chat. Is there a reason why or is roblox still trying to give it out?? My account joined roblox in 2019, it is 13+, it has phone number and email connected. I feel like i'm really unlucky.

This is correct kreek, I'm 13 but do not have a ID, I tried using my passport but it's gonna expired soon and in Canada the lines are super long. This is a game changer but I'm not gonna add my phone number because of sim card switching. This update is definitely gonna make Roblox feel like COD and Xbox voice chats.

I stopped using voice chat because their was some issues with it but now it seems to be fixed and luckily more people are going to have it so it's more useful

You should probably expect a lot of trolling using voice chat when everyone has it over a period of time.

I honestly think this a great way to get people to add their email to their roblox account. It will add so much extra security to so many accounts and reduce the amount of hacked accounts every day dramatically. And you get voice chat on top.

The only reason ima enabled voice chat is to listen to people finding out their roblox girlfriend is a 63 year old man.

Ok, I'm bit late to this lmao but this isn't all true. Roblox voice chat isn't necessarily given out to everyone, It's just given out in waves to a very large number of players as a form of beta testing. All you need to do is verify your email and phone number and eventually, by the time another "wave" of beta testing for voice chat is given out, you have A CHANCE at getting it. Now, that isn't to say that if you don't get it by the next time they give out beta testing, you won't get it at all. In the end, you just have to wait your turn, and I promise you, you'll get it. Thanks! EDITTTT: SORRY SORRY SORRY I forgot to add that your age has to be set to 13+… but still, i’m surprised that people are still waiting considering that I get most of the time even just a couple minutes after creating a new account???

they should add a feature where you can mute somebodys voice chat or you can set voice chat to you and friends

Here's a tip for yall so you dont mess up like I did Once you join a game and it says "Enable voice chat blablabla" DO NOT PRESS JOIN WITHOUT If you press "Join without vc" You cannot enable it afterwards. This happened to me and now I cannot enable my VC If anyone knows how to fix it, please help T0T

If you set your birthday date to something that makes you under 13, there won’t be an add phone number option. So it kind of does prevent children from unlocking voice chat
