the number of UGC items to moderate is obviously way more than one bundle roblox is taking action against ugc but resources are limited and obsolete against hundred of thousands of items
I got it within the first 5 minutes of it being tweeted by the RTC - sure I would have loved to have been able to keep it forever, but I understand that people did spend real life money on it and its completely understandable why the people like me got it removed from our invs. Honestly, it was uber funny to be a part of the mayhem of buying it and I do wish I did join some of the mayhem - another part i found hilarious was Roblox's last post was about investors, and they technically just lost a load of money.
Nah it’s not understandable and it’s roblox players being spiteful and jealous as usual. If you got lucky then you should be able to keep it. People being mad that they wasted hundreds on some pixels is just hilarious to me like you realize some people getting a free headless doesn’t mean yours is gone, right? People are so vicious.
the only message that the impacted players got were "We recently discovered an issue where a bundle you acquired on November 15th (Pacific Time) was unintentionally made available for free. We have since removed Headless Horseman from your inventory and from your avatar if you had equipped it. The issue that caused this to occur has been resolved. Thank you for your continued support." everyone who got it for free only got that message, not like what kreekcraft said.
Thanks for posting that. I had a feeling it'd just be a message without Robux. It wouldn't exactly make sense to be given Robux for something people got to enjoy for free for a while. I think being able to test-drive the Headless Horseman bundle was a treat by itself. I'm glad a lot of Robloxians got to experience what it's like to own the bundle even if only temporarily.

Fun fact: the headless horseman was from a legend in a place called the sleepy hollow, it was a story about someone who gets chased by a "headless horseman" and the horseman was a soldier in world war 2 I think that got his head blown off by a cannon ball, and searches for his missing head.
Yeah, and his horse's name was Daredevil. The person he chased was Ichabod Crane riding a horse called Gunpowder. There are many versions of the legend, but Halloween at Sleepy Hollow (NY) is epic! Look it up if you want. Some people dress up as the headless horseman and ride around on a real horse. There's also plenty of art. The Robloxian Headless Horseman lost his head when a group of trick-or-treating noobs ran over him and caused him to oof. He respawned without a head and wants revenge. His toy code gives a gear item called the Heedless Horse.

Headless Horseman shouldn’t be so expensive, if they end up making blunders like this, it wouldn’t make much of an impact if it was only sold for 1k instead of 31k. But, I digress. Roblox made a mistake, and Headless will be removed from all accounts who bought it over yesterday and today. It will just happen either way, so if you got it for free, enjoy it while you can.

Imagine working and making sacrifices such as cancelling plans and missing out on movie/dinner nights and not buying some games you want just so you can go on vacation in October, but then all those plans get cancelled due to a pandemic, so you decide to spend time online with friends and suddenly you realize you can afford a bundle you've wanted for 2+ years and it's cheaper than what you would have spent on just the hotel or travel costs.
Hi Kreek, Roblox decided to remove it almost right away from people, atleast from my inventory. I got a message saying stuff about the bug and they took away the items.

unfortunately it was rolled back around 3 hours ago so headless for free is gone now. Also mentioning that it only worked for r15 and didn't work for r6. Great video!
now people can’t call others “fatherless” for buying a $300 item even though the people who bought it actually have money so the people calling them fatherless are just jealous of them
I honestly do agree with Kreek here, I do think they should have let them keep this, if for nothing else, for the memes. That's just really funny that happened, and it is a shame they're rolling this back, but it's cool if they're giving the affected players a type of compensation here. That can at the very least soften the blow just a little. I just wish I could have been a part of this chaos. 😂
The Headless Horseman Roblox toy is actually what made me cave in and give Roblox a chance. I brought the toy over to a family-friend's house while babysitting and grew attached to the character before I had any idea it was so expensive. Even if it were a cheap bundle, I still would have bought and equipped it. I actually used part of my Sleepy Hollow vacation & Comic-Con savings 2 years later for October 2020 to buy the Headless Horseman Bundle for about $300, which was hardly anything compared to what I would have spent on food, travel, and hotel costs, not to mention what I would have spent at the events. With those plans cancelled, this pricy bundle felt like a cheap alternative, plus I got to save most of my hard-earned cash. It feels nice having something expensive and being taken a bit more seriously by those who care about stuff like that, but at the same time, it does kinda sadden me that a lot of players see the character for its value, not for the character itself. I want to pretend to be a vengeful character going after classic noobs (not bacons) I blame for causing me to respawn without a head, but just the sight of the character apparently leaves others under the impression that I'm trying to flex before I even type anything and they say stuff like, "Why are you so broke now?" (to which I'd reply, "College/Educatuon costs.") or, "Did your mom notice when you used her card to buy that?" not knowing I don't even live with my mom anymore. Sometimes I'll briefly explain how/why I got it and they'd go, "Oh," or either apologize or leave without a word, but it'd be nice if more people got the references and played along like they would some other cosplay of a character. It's not like I'm bullying random noobs unprovoked. I say something in character first, like a villain cosplayer at a convention approaches their nemesis, but keeping it kid-friendly since I have no idea who I'm talking to.
Ngl, this is probably the nicest thing Roblox has ever done since 2017 because they really just care about the community now, they just care about the money tbh.
I actually got the free headless but after a few hours I got a notification from Roblox telling me that they had gotten rid of it so I think it was probably just on accident
my opinion is that they should delete the headless horseman for everyone that got it no matter what they did pay or didn’t pay . because the whole reason people want headless is to brag about it.
I can't be the only one who appreciates the character regardless of price, right? I bought the bundle so I could play as the same character as my first Roblox toy. I don't care about its value, and the only reason I could afford it at the time was because my plans to actually visit Sleepy Hollow were cancelled due to the pandemic. What about the people who aren't showing off?

@@stvr.s5007 oh yeah…I guess I used the incorrect word…it’s more like…say you go to a gas station and diseal is marked at .69 a gallon vs 6.99 or a TV at a store is marked 250.00 vs 2,500…it’s not the customers fault and the company has to eat it (the loss) and Roblox should have the grace to do so as well. They ain’t losing anything. Oh and both of these are real life experiences
Me and my mom got it, (yes, she plays roblox) I was really excited cause bro I'm not bouta spend over $300 for a Roblox item- but I don't think it's fair that they're taking it away, cause like you said, it's Roblox's fault, not the people that got it.
Everything is back to normal now but still, complaining about someone abusing an error to get free headless doesn't make sense. Why do people think that Roblox won't take it back?
I'm glad i got headless horseman for free just in time, all my friends have it now. My other friends are mad because they have to spend 300 dollars to get it. But i have it on my alt not my main though, just to test it.
