Okay seriously, this is such a thrilling and horrifying ghost hunt theme. I can't imagine just simply doing tasks and trying to figure out the ghost type and hearing this just to find a way to hide somewhere. I'd probably have several heart attacks just suddenly hearing this from out of the blue (in a good way?). So exited!
I just played a match of specter 2 and it was oni. The mf went on a 5 minute hunting spree And all my friends were in a closet except for 1 and he was screaming the entire call lmao. But the crazy part is HE SURVIVED
A setting that I wish they would add to both Specter 1 and 2 is hunt theme settings: Whenever the ghost hunts you, you can pick the music that you want from all of Specters hunting themes (The Chase theme, The Run theme, and this one) or maybe you could use a custom music ID for hunting. (Imagine hearing Nyan Cat while being chased by a Phantom)
I think it was necessary to make it so that the music starts at 1:05 because firstly: In the beginning, there is no music and it does not look like it. Second: The music is quiet. Third: More terrible starts at 1:05 and ends. And finally, I want to say that from the beginning to 1:05, then the attack is too short, too much. And from 1:05 to the end, a normal attack. And the more Oni attack more than the rest of the ghosts and music ends, but Oni attack. Developers and Eternal please note it!
I think that is the point, for it to be quiet. It was I think based on Phasmophobia which has no hunt theme. Which makes the game more fun, surprisining, and most importantly, scary. Once you memorize the beginning you should be ok.
I like the specter 1 hunt music than specter 2 because the specter 2 music is pretty slow feeling and boring while specter 1 has more active feeling into it.
well that little creepy noise at the beginning is perfect, and I think they were going for a menacing tone for players hiding in closets, listening, waiting...
Ik you cut most of it out to make the hunting shorter for us but this is just epic! this game is epic itself. Definetely my new fav game. 👌 Also does anyone else think that hunt music in the actual game sounds like your underwater? Lol
I remember a game in family home where a person activated a ouija board, I stood ready to take a picture, the moment this music started, I took a picture and ran, thinking the ghost spawned AT the ouija board... Only to run into the ghost in the hallway.
When i first played spectre 2 and the ghost like hunted 20 seconds in and im in the closet with my friend right out of no where this song poped up i knew it was the ghost hunting so we hid but my friend was in the other closet he was the first one dead so that was scary!!!

One time i was playing specter 2 survival with my brother and two other random people. and my brother found a way to cheat and my brother had the ghost chase him as he ran around a wall as this intense music played lmao
Remembering the first time I played Specter 2 (around when it first came out) it started from the beginning and we didn’t know the ghost started hunting until we saw it 😭 I thought it was ambience
