Notice how at the end of this mission, just beneath the "FINAL SCORE" thing, there is a tab designated "FOUND PAST SQUAD MEMBER: NO". Interesting, right? This can indicate few things. 1. Past Squad Member has seen 096's face by accident and got [REDACTED] by him. Thats why we cannot find him, and the tab at the end screen always says "NO". (Or he is foundable, I just didnt see anyone find him yet.) 2. He is foundable somewhere (Hostage, NPC, corpse, etc.) In my opinion its highly possible that option 1 is right.
The past squad member can be found dead in the cave next to the scramble goggle drop. The interesting thing about him is that he will have the same callsign as the person who found him and the cave where he can be found is the same one as that one from the weird flashback in clean out.

Instead of ETA 10, Why can't they just get Tau-1 "Big Brother" to handle 096? I know that they've been slaughtered by the 096-1-A Incident, but why can't they just promote them to Tau-1?
Why can’t just the foundation show picture of 096 face to a d-class, SCP 096 will run to the d-class and tanks with jets will just follow him, half of tanks will evacuate citizen’s other half of tanks will follow SCP 096 and the jets will drop amnesiac gas so people forget about it. It will cost about 10,000 dollars but it’s better than wasting 3 teams of fully trained and professional MTF teams with gear on each of them that cost 1000 dollars per each.
