btw you got it in reverse, the good ending is if you leave him behind because that dude is the shapeshifting intruder, when you start your boss on the radio tells you that there's no one down there so you don't have to expect anyone else.
The endings are literally reversed The don't save him choice is the good ending As the radio guy said that There should be NO ONE in the mineshaft except for the players The character we just saved is the intruder mimicking a possible deceased miner
that miner could potentially be the intruder, converted by the intruder himself to cause havoc in the mineshaft. You can tell this intruder is far different from the intruder form chapter 1, as it’s head shape is different. This could possibly mean that those 2 3 intruders in the mental hospital chapter( The unhinged, the vent dweller and the intruder ) had been visited by the intruder/spent too much time with him which converted them into his own kind.
Good ending: You leave the guy to die in the explosion. You get this ending if you don't save him Bad Ending: You spare the guy and let him in the elevator with you, but remember in the start, the guy in the radio said 'no one should be down there except you players'. So it turns out that the intruder, shape shifted into a guy and tricked you into saving him. Then you were never heard ever again, you get this ending by choosing 'Save him'
the good ending would've ended the story already but the bad ending is suppose to happen cuz the hospital chapter continues on after the mineshaft chapter as it is a canon event
i just let him perishh bec he lied about being with us when i had to do this generators ALL BY MYSELF WITHOUT HIS ASS ON NIGHTMARE plus a boss said there is NO ONE down here and i am sure that is a shapeshift
I don't point on either side of if the unknown man we save is the Intruder or if he's not. I believe that he's not, but that's my opinion, and I'm tired of people fighting in the comments. (don't think about doing the same to this one.) So, here's some stuff for beliefs of if he is or not, and remember, none of this is proven after the chapter, so, nobody actually knows. (If there's more proof for the other theory, that means it's a smaller amount of evidence/less important. If it has more text, that means it's hard to explain because it was never explained clearly in-game.) The man IS the Intruder theory: 1. The man on the radio said that nobody else should be in the cave. Why is he in there? 2. The unknown man says "I've been with you all the whole time" which slightly implies he's been with us as the intruder. However, a debatable quote, "No, no, no.. This can't be happening!" means that he's defeated on the fact that his home is going to be destroyed. (The Intruder's home is a cave, and since we're sent here, most likely his cave.) 3. Nobody else was fixing the generators besides the player(s). 4. There were never reports that another team had gone missing in the mineshaft. The guy on the radio would've told us. 5. The Intruder evades the explosion because it only makes him faster. 6. He looks overwhelmed because he's exhausted of all the work he's done destroying the generators and running in endless circles, trying to prevent the player from attacking his home. He's the most aggressive in this state because the player is trying to destroy his home. The man is NOT the Intruder theory: 1. The man on the radio only mentions that "Big guy" (aka. the intruder) is in there. That's the most important detail, and we're only called there to destroy the cave, which means it's the most important task at hand. Nobody else would know if another less important person is in the cave. 2. The unknown man looks horrified when being saved, almost as if he's seen the intruder and that he's confused on what was happening during the detonation only to realize that it is a detonation in the first place at the end. The main reason why the Intruder may not be present during the escape is probably because he's killed off time for the unknown man as a victim. This is why, at the last second, he was trapped. 3. He didn't have to fix generators in the first place. For all we know, he could've been mining the entire time or hiding in a locker the entire time. He isn't told on what to do when the shaft is lowering, because he was already in there. He was probably with a different team too, so he was never tasked with fixing generators. (and he probably never knew about the planned detonation.) 4. The reason why he probably says "I've been with you all the whole time" is because his team might've abandoned him or was all dead before he was able to escape. The shaft was never lowered, so he was never able to escape. Again, if you don't save him, he says, "No, no, no.. This can't be happening!" He's going through disbelief. He's trapped. His team might've been killed, he's scared of the environment and he knows he's not safe. The only chance of safety now would've been the chance to even escape from a TNT explosion. He's traumatized. It's as simple as that. He's overly stressed about the events that had all happened at once. 5. He's not tall. The Intruder only has a sign of shapeshifting into players (as seen first in The House,) if the appearance of the figure was tall. This person is the opposite. 6. He never kills you in the elevator. He sits there as he thinks about the past events he's been through and how he had escaped it all. By now, he'd show his real appearance and he'd as stated, "rip your face off" (in the house if you reverse the text at the end of the dialogue) and it obviously doesn't matter if another person is present or not during his hunt. Bonus (why I believe that he's actually not): What person is he even trying to mimic if he is the Intruder? Usually he mimics people we know and love, for example, in the house, our father. For Henry, it was his family. Sure, it's a miner. A miner in this environment would make sense, like in the house it's our father. It would make sense why our father would be in a house, more specifically the player's house. But, we have no idea who that man is, as stated in the badges, he's called "Unknown Man." His voice also sounds genuine (as in human and he also sounds emotionally terrified.) It's not like a text to speech audio like in the house which the Intruder makes a feeble attempt to mimic the player's father. Also, when the game was created, in the final chapter, the Intruder and Henry had actual unique voices for themselves. This means when the Intruder is impersonating someone, the voice is more obvious and fake. Again, don't attack me because I made different points. I'm obviously going to get corrected for the "not being an intruder theory" because most of the proof is only thought about and is not clear in-game. Also, because most people believe the man is the Intruder. There is no aftermath and no effect on which option you decide to choose. The next chapter, it's clear that the Intruder is still alive no matter what.
This is a pretty cool theory! However I will correct that the "Big Guy/Man" the person on the radio mentions is probably referring to their boss, not the Intruder. They said that "The Big Man wants us to keep [the demolition] a secret", which wouldn't make sense for the intruder to say.
we learned tht the intruder can shapeshift and mimic peoples voices and that guy was not on the elevator with you to begin with so after you saved him you were never seen agian
Him not being tall is actually a good point to make, because as you see in chapter 1,the intruders, even when shapeshifted, are very tall, and this guy,is not tall
everybody saying saving the guy was a the bad ending , the person we are playing as and the guy literally comes back at the hospital episode , who do u think left all the notes there
@@Rks_gamerz blud he said on the radio we weren't suppose to expect someone down there and Inturder trying get his Shames to shapeshift to someone try to get in and that why leaving him behind is the good ending
@@fuzzygaming554 wait if you think he's intruder then why intruder didn't kill the player and he not intruder he is human hidding somewhere and you forgot about if intruder shapeshift then his height we go long and he will have no face did you even play the intruder house
@@Rks_gamerzbecause the inturder can shapeshift to anyone even you trying to kill your but he does look not tall but I still think he the inturder because we didn’t expect anyone down there before us
If the mineshaft comes first in the lore then that mean taking the intruder with you might be the canon ending because if he didint escape then the other chapters woudent have happened correct me if im wrong
the end are reverse the good is dont saves because the guy in the radio say that we are alone so nobody should be in and we know that he can shapeshift and mimic people and we know that he can shapeshift because in multiplayer sometimes when inturder is here (chapter 1) sometimes in the chat a player say "false alarm guys! come out of your hiding spot" and its nor the player but the intruder and when he open the closet sometime its a player in game
Everybodies saying the good ending is the bad ending cuz it was the intruder and shit but they didn't even realize the guy didn't kill us when we were both in the elevator. The intruder rushes to kill you so if it had the chance it wouldn't wait.
my theory is that off screen, the intruder shape shifts back to itself and kills the remaining players in the lift. I also think that the Intruder doesn’t want to be exploded to bits so they shape shift into a dude and tries to get on board with them but when he says “no no no no” it’s not actually a trick, it’s actually what the Intruder actually feels. buts it’s just a theory
@@LargeCamermanGang he didn't expect us someone was down there so The Guy at the End WAS The Inturder Because Number 1 He can shapeshift to anyone like at the house and mall someone will chat if they didn't even talk and the Inturder shapeshift their body sometimes not same at mall Number 2 The Inturder haven't spoke since the mall only in The VHS tape #2
@@fuzzygaming554 alright, then why does he look different from house. When the Intruder mimics, it transfroms into a human WHATS the difference with a head guy and a non head guy
