I honestly kind of figured that the IRL Battlestations that VTubers use would be more utilitarian and mundane, and it'd be naive to expect that the personality that they portray on streams would carry over to real life, let alone their PC set-up. But between Roboco and several other Vtubers that have shown theirs off I am totally wrong; their set-ups look exactly like what you'd initially expect; cutesy and girly as can be.

also a reminder that just like gold in other country cuteness is a curency in japan. the more cute things you own, the richer you are, since that's how they scale the price in japan, more cute = more expensive. so it's no surprise roboco could afford those super expensive pc and accesories.

The PC build is completely adorable and seems quite nice. And, I do love how well color matched everything is. I almost have to wonder if that's a custom colored shroud for that video card, since it's super hard to find anything that's not the typical "gamer" branded red and black. Though, two major concerns. One, the front has no access to air what's so ever. Which is going to be holding her hardware back. Yes, I understand concerns about noise and all, but if you have good airflow, you can just run the fans slower and have your components be able to push themselves that much harder AND getting quiet operation. While with a closed off front, the fans have to work really hard to try to get what little air they can from really far away. And the radiator that's cooling her CPU is upside down. You never want to run the rad tubes side up. It ends up running unnecessarily loud, since the pump has to work that much harder as you keep using the rad for a while and is going to kill it prematurely.

If my parents called my set up a “battle station” I don’t know what I would do.
