Severely underrated RoboCop film.

I love the fact that he's able to interact with his wife and son. Nice suit of armor too!

Love that black suit. Looks really good and had a sort of lean look to it as well. Amazing

i just saw this remake and I enjoyed the movie as a story based on the Character Robocop, its an interesting take on his story and origins, made with todays tech and stuff it makes sense the writing changes and how they redid everything, from toning down the violence to changing his origins and the biggest change, having him "awake in a robot body", essentially putting a man in a robot body, and to me it made me think of our own society and how everyday we are becoming more machine like and how machine is becoming more man like, like how Robocop is able to overide the system thats keeping his dopeamine levels supressed and the love for his son and how a father cares for his family is shown in this movie very nice. Robocop essentially "mastering machine" by raising his own dopeamine levels and beating the ED-209's proves that in the end the system wasn't making him belive he was controlling his ability to fight, that it was actually him fighting and he is using the system as his new body, essentially in the end, Alex Murphy masters machine, and successfully becomes "one with machine" and I feel a lot of ppl are missing that premise of this film, and when you understand this, you appriciate the film more, and enjoy it more, but to me its just a good take on Robocop's story, using todays film tech, making it look fantastic. i would have liked to see a longer montage tho of Robocop patroling the streets and solving little petty crimes and maybe helping old ladies cross the street by grabbing them and jumping over traffic and the granny has a fun time being 20 ft in the air, or he rescues a cat about to fall from a high story and his new body is so mechanically precise, it can save a cat and not harm it. i give it a 8/10

Love the movie, only thing i would change is the PG13 to R .

I personally think that they could have made the suit look better. The silver one that he wore briefly looked perfect, but the black one was too thin and gave no resemblance to a robot body. At the very least they could have made it look more bulky, kind of like the Iron Man suit. But what can you do? I still liked the movie for what it was.

I'd buy that suit for a dollar.

This needed to be R-rated. That was it's downfall.

When you finish putting on your suit, you feel like going to the bathroom and you have to take it off again.

Here's the deal. Robocop is not an action character. He's a cyborg. like a tank, immune to most damage. This looks like an action character in a suit.

1:02 Miguel Ferrer didn't play Vallon and wasn't in Robocop 2014. Antoine Vallon was played by Patrick Garrow.

You know it would have been cool to have a cameo with Peter Weller, just as a fun easter egg. Oh, and BTW, Walter White gave this film two thumbs down for busting the meth factory.

a film so great cant remember hardly anything about but the original which i haven't seen since this was made i can still remember it so well classic if YOU cant compete don't ruin an IP - im going to have to go get the original now ,mad eh we get better effects CGI eta eta but with out talent (no offence to the actors if it had been bad acting at least i would of remembered that) you just got crap presumable crap music too/ editing who cant remember the robo cop tune fiking assume music, music should trigger a film memory 101 if not your doing it wrong i probably have to see if i can rewatch this too as i have a good memory i do remember not being impressed by it

The problem with this movie is the director, couldn't really make his vision of the movie he truly wanted. No rated R. So the villain aspect was deluded! They wanted a safe trilogy, like The Batman Dark Knight trilogy, and this is what we got? What a waste of great actors and bad writing, because the Producers in charge pushed whatever good ideas they had and had them scrapped. I liked the new suits of armor. But I didn't like him just having a hand and lungs and a head that was stupid. Motorcycle was cool, but him in a car would have been better because until he gets out,the suspense would of made Robocop more menacing! That's what made the original Robocop so intimidating is when you first see him he is coming in the police department being blurred by the glass and it looked so cool! 80's magic! In those days they cared about the cost not the creative part. Now they want to control the creative parts and the budget.

I was disappointed with this modern version. Couldn't even finish till then end as I fell asleep in the theatre!

Man they could never make it like the 90's robocop the original robocop was the best it had more feeling about it. This one felt so cold and shit. What waste of money wish they would of given me the budget on making the remake I would of made it like the original one and would of made homage to it.
