The quote about Red Foreman transitioning into Clarence Boddicker is the single best thing I've heard on youtube this week, screw that...this year so far.
On a similar note, in my own headcanon, Chris Hargensen (Nancy Allen's character from Carrie) survived being killed by Carrie White, decided to change her life around, moved to the crime-riddled Detroit of the RoboCop universe in her early twenties, changed her name and identity to Anne Lewis, and became a cop to make up for her being a rotten teenager. XD
Ah, another classic that I was lucky enough to witness in its initial first theatrical run, during my misspent youth! I recall being shocked at numbed at the level of overkill/ultraviolence during the execution scene. My young mind was disturbed by the possibility that 1.) there are, in fact, people that evil in the world and that 2.) they can execute an officer of the law and essentially get away with it (for a time). That's when I realized that good doesn't always win and there isn't always someone there to save your ass. Moving on, these reviews are solid gold. I don't know why the entire planet is not subbed.
I've just realized. If directive 4 is to not arrest an offers of OCP wouldn’t that mean upholding the law comes before then. Which means if he needs to arrest an officer of OCP to uphold the law it shouldn't be an issue
Alright I'll agree to buy into your Red Forman Theory. If you agree that Hal from Malcolm abandon his family and move to New Mexico changed his name to Walter White to become a chemistry teacher, and his cancer can be explained from the time he tried to make the microwave cook food without a door.
So you just gloss over the dude falling into toxic waste and turns into the toxic avenger right before being hit by a van and exploding like a water balloon?
