If you got to the Moon, and more importantly to the lair of the corrupted IRIS, you'd have seen the recently added Superbot lying face down on the stairs after a failed attempt trying to save the city. One Super Update, a quick trip to the newest zone in Haven City, and a prod to the unfrozen Alfred later, and SuperBot is back in the fight to bring Law and Order to Haven. One scrapped badbot at a time.
Superbot cannot change weapons from his trusty SuperTM Blaster, and his secondary companion, Captain McSlice.... So any weapon "picked up" gets CONSUMED, and levels his gun up as well as healing him otherwise. And with less health than the usual Guardian, he needs it. With one of his powers taken up by the sword, his other is a Supercharge boost, and all the gadgets used can be tweaked through the upgrade trees, causing this limited selection for even further heroic flavoured smackdowns. You can also take advantage of the weapon perfume seller to improve the quality and the prefixes of the blaster, making this static kit just as varying as a regular class. Just in a far smaller package.
But what a package... Cough
Combining all that, this can be quite the asskicker despite the downsides of not having the option to run the typical guns for the usual builds. And despite this being my literal first run (On Standard, I know), let's just say it's not long before the little guy gets his sweet revenge on the power crazed AI...
