Roborock E4 robot vacuum cleaner review 

The Mi Home App work fine. I use the Mi Home skill with Alexa and the Roborock skill too to turn on and charge my Roborock E4. The Roborock app doesn't work with the E models just the Mi Home app

I have one and it works great. I have not had any problems with the app. I had to connect to my internet and it works fine. I have a simple floor plan and it works out great for me for the price.

App setup seems to require having it very close to the phone and router both, but it works fine anywhere in the house once set up. It definitely is a little too tall to get under the couches, but it navigates real well around the house. Yes, for those wondering, it does do the entire house. If the battery dies it will return to where it left off and finish, something you do not see in similarly priced units. It also runs a back and forth pattern instead of randomly bouncing around. I like how it slows down about a foot before hitting an object it detects. That being said, furniture with thin legs may get crashed into. Overall, I'm impressed with ours.

Sometimes when I vacuume unusual areas like under a bed I've moved , I wish I had the E4 instead of s5 max. My s5 max thinks it's in a different room next to a no go zone. I had to delete a map, and make new map to get the areas under the furniture I've moved cleaned. Now I only store 3 maps in case I've got a spesial area that needs to be vacuumed.

If this one has a 2KPa suction power and the regular upright vacuum ones have 24KPa suction power, aren't the regular ones just better at the job?

I just bought mine today and I’m returning it. I downloaded the app however it’s not connecting to my Wi-Fi. I have a fiber optic network.

Mine goes under the couch. I am trying to figure out how to work the remote control.
