I retired my Q7+ to my finished basement and purchased this for my main floor because of the superior suction and dual rollers. Arrives Friday, will update thoughts
Great video! How does it compare against the Q5 Pro+ and S8? Roborock has way too many models, quite confusing. I am keen on a robot vacuum with a dual roller. Thanks!
It is very confusing TBH! This basically has 2 rollers and app controlled mopping vs 1 roller and no mop control for the Q5. I haven't used the S8 so I don't have any info to go off of from the top of my head! You'd get a good enough clean with the Q5 and save some money. It's just annoying that the Q5 doesn't have app controlled mopping as it definitely should for its price point
But the Q5 Pro+ has a dual roller, so apart from the lack of mop control, is it indeed that much worse? Also, this one (Q8 max+) does it recognize carpets while mopping (i.e. does mop lift or how does it work?). @@DigitalDavid your videos are helping me a lot btw! Thank you.
Did you get to try the s8 i am leaning towars going to Q8 max insted since i dont need mopping but for 15 USD more i can the the Q8 max+ so i have auto empty
It will make contact with rugs but wet is an overstatement. I don't think you would notice your rug or carpets even being damp. I think that is more for the sanitary crowd. In regards to mop performance they are all so similar in everyday use regardless of vibration or not. Vibration will make a difference if you have stubborn "stains" you are trying to mop vs daily floor maintenance! Does that help?
Great Video. :) This or the Q7 Max+ ? Can't really decide... watching videos like 3-4 days now. The house only having tile everywhere. Thanks for the help :)
