When will the s8 maxV review come?

Thank you so much - I really appreciate this review! I've been playing with my Qrevo MaxV for the last week. I'm really pleased with the mopping and vacuuming performance and it handles the edges where area rugs meet hard floor way better than my past robots did. As you observed, I've found that obstacle avoidance is spotty. It seems to always recognize larger objects like shoes, but it hasn't recognized technology cables at all, no matter what color on either carpet or hard floor. It also ran right over my cellphone in the middle of the floor, and it fails to acknowledge about 50% of small stuffed cat toys. It seems to recognize the ones with bright stripes or patterns, but solid color toys it doesn't see, even if they're high contrast to the floor surface. Before I set it to the Pet setting in obstacle avoidance it did run over my cat's tail one time, but that's on him because he saw the robot coming and didn't move. With the pet setting it hasn't happened again. Hopefully avoidance can be improved in future firmware updates. Even with all this, I'm not disappointed in this vacuum - my floors look great.

Is it worth the extra 750? Over the previous model?

Thanks for the review. Is there a way to set the level of pressure the mop is using against the floor?

Do you know if the wet spills detection works so that it stops vaccuming and lifts the brush and only mops? Our flat coated retriever has half his mouth full of water when leaving his bowl 🤦‍♂️😅

Did you check for a firmware update since this video/ vaccuum wars noted that there was one, and the object detection was much better afterwards. wondering if that is the same here?

How does it compare to the eufy x10 pro omni? I’m a fan of the spinning mop pads.

How’s is it better than the dreame?

Eufy doesn’t even have mops that swing out.
