I've got a Roomba. I used to have a scooba which IMHO was the BEST mop vac I've ever seen. Why oh why haven't any of these robot vac companies even tried to make a device that even comes close to the scooba. I really don't know why irobot stopped making them.
I believe they are looking to reach as many customers as possible and I feel that the scooba is a bit more special and needs some understanding its strengths so that people can extrac the most of it. But yeah - I also would appreciate it if something similar comes out. 👍👍
I have an almost identical robo from Roborock (interestingly also called almost the same), but it's less flat and can't clean under our sofa, unfortunately... Also, the mops, the main brush, and even the main brush mechanism are almost identical.
By just looking at one specs I find this robo vacuum is not good. It only comes with one rotating brush. There should be 2. That is the first thing I look at.
I very much disagree - most of the robots with two brushes push particles away a lot more than these with a single brush. Dual brush setup is IMO better when there is no mid brush.
