Pacific rim most of the jaegers were fighting in water, and the jaegers had a much more heavier weight, that explains why the robots felt more heavier. As of now in PRU the jaegers are much more light weight, that explains there fast mobility lets also not forget that this is set the future

The problem with this movie is not the criticism, but the huge holes in the script and the physical errors in its animation and design. And these stand out even more compared to the first movie.

@@thegameranimator5430 what do you mean? CGI is really hard to get it to look realistic especially in daytime but Pacific Rim Uprising did that perfectly, but yes there are some holes in the script but that's it, it's overall a great movie but it still not as great as the original Pacific Rim.

people are always saying that the jeagers were causing more damage than te kaiju but when you think of it Kaijus are just getting bigger and stronger so as long as the city's are executed it makes sense to use all means to kill them

can you blame em? saber athena(or whatever jaeger that is) pilots can't even use their weapon properly slicing more buildings than damaging a kaiju releasing their lights saber looking sword slicing the buildings then decides to kick it with its high agility legs in power ranger style instead of slicing the kaiju more

In the first they used all means to defeat the kaijus but tried to not involve the cities, thats why the fight in the sea rather than in land and when they go in land they atleast try not to destroy everything, because its very expensive, like why gipsy avenger used the plasma gun to pull some buildings to hurt the kaiju when you just shoot him

The Jagers designs were good but that's about it, The way that they edited the movie looks like a 15 y/o edited it. Atleast Pacific Rim The Black wasn't horrible..

U are right though for a kids show I quite enjoyed the black, nice extra look at things.
