This game was brutal, one life and no save or continues. To finish it I had to leave my NES on for 3 days straight so I could continue after school. Was so paranoid mum would turn it off during the day lol.
I've been wondering wtf this game was for years and years. I remember renting a game that was like bomberman, but you were some sort of spaceman or robot and the levels weren't just one screen. I remember those bushes and the cave..nostalgiaaaaa
Never saw this game for rent or sale anywhere around town back then, it's kinda cool. Not keen on the arbitrary life drain mechanic though. It's one thing to have a sense of urgency from a timer, it's another when the timer is your own life bar. Always hated that about Gauntlet too but I at least understood it in that case since the game was made to eat quarters. -_-
I remember getting this game, then changing it for Section Z, because I was annoyed by the fact that your energy keeps disappearing for no apparent reason.
