As others have said, this song will be featured in an anime that is presently airing in probably a month or so. It's about a young pianist with love and tragedy and is extremely popular. It's not often that a manga becomes an anime so quickly. So, be prepared for a flood of viewers and a lot of love, as this is really a wonderful performance and I'm sure they will feel the same.
It was a masterpiece. I've been reading, listening and watching for a long time with the intent of experiencing the highest appreciation yet I don't know if I was ready for something as good as this xD Oh how good it was!
Wow you guys rock! I cant seem to pinpoint it, but the suspense at 1:04 then the release at 1:07 sounds so so good. I have been listening to classical music for a long time and a nice progression of keys like that is rare. Love it 100% bravo :)
Yep, me too came here out of curiosity after reading the chapter, but stayed because of their talent. Check out the other videos of those brothers, they are really good!
Bravo! Magnificent! Amazing performance here. And yes, I came here by searching for a pure piano duet version after hearing it from "Shigatsu wa kimi no uso" (Your life in April).
I absolutely love Rachmaninoff's arrangement of the Sleeping Beauty suite. What a shame that there are hardly any recordings of it besides the waltz. Also what is this Simiga no kami uso or whatever everyone is talking about in the comments rip
So many people in the comments coming from Shigatsu wa kimi no uso. Have any of you guys seen the ACTUAL Rose Adagio?!?! I highly recommend watching it, it's absolutely breathtaking and beautiful.
TheSingingBUn I feel you. I enjoyed the anime but I feel like it somewhat ruined this music. Ive loved this piece for a long time but ever since YLIA came out, I can't talk about some pieces without getting some anime comment or some anime criticism.
For those who are in search for the sheet music, you usually find it by going to the Boosey & Hawkes website and typing in "Sleeping Beauty Rachmaninoff". I'll also post a link, but unfortunately they change every few months, so it's probably not gonna work anymore then ^^'. www.boosey.com/shop/prod/Tchaikovsky-Peter-Ilyich-Sleeping-Beauty-Suite-op-66a-piano/2118997 Sadly, there seems to be no website yet offering PayPal for paying :/
+dimas samudera THX!! My first Anime was Your Lie In April. And I want to watch more Anime related to classical music or just music. If you still have any suggestion for me to watch please do tell me. THX!
Could I know where you got the sheet music from? I've been looking for it but all I can find is music for Rachmaninoff's arrangement of the Waltz, and not the Rose Adagio.
