One thing I will say about Kody's bio kids is that most of them seem quite socially confident and independent in comparison to Robyn's kids. They have been with the Browns for a very long time so the fact that they are so reserved and appear depressed shows how isolated they were from the family. It's very sad.

Funny how different parenting turns out different kinds of kids! Janelle and Christine’s kids (except Mykelti - that girl is just weird, probably from being around Robyn so much) vs. kids raised by Robyn and Kody. I don’t think Robyn is as concerned with her kids being bullied as much as she doesn’t want her children to tell the other kids what goes on in her house. Her and Kody barely working, the expensive things they buy, etc. Robyn doesn’t want the other kids influencing her children and possibly turning them against her. Robyn's older kids look and act like hostages. When Aurora made that little speech in support of her mother, they used weird formal words, correspondents?! Also her breathing was like she was about to have a panic attack like they've shown before. Sol and Ari are not socialised, or used to being around people. What 7 year old still uses a dummy/pacifier? Shes raised them to be dependent and not to be successful. None of her kids show any confidence, ever!

Honestly it doesn't even have to be that intentional. Robyn has set the example that you can talk all you want about how close you are to someone, or how good your relationship with them is, but not put any or little effort into that person ex. Meri. Robyn talks a big game but has shown how little time and energy she will put into relationships. She'll say "oh I love those boys" but make an excuse as to why she can't invite Jenelle's sons over for the holidays. If that's the example, why would they do any different? I would put money on them being raised that way.

I definitely see Robyn instilling paranoia and anxiety on her kids. She enjoys screwing with them mentally because that's how she maintains her control over them & the situation. Also, I find it quite funny how Janelle's kids (namely Garrison & Gabe) were supposed to "hit the door" when they turned 18 and yet here's Robyn's kids still living at home into their 20s?? Hmmm tell me how fair that is?? Kody is drinking WAYYYYY too much "kool aid". He seriously needs to wake up and stop destroying this family more than he already has.

Everyone is like “oh poor Robin’s kids and what they are going through” UGH!!! Look at how Robins kids behaved at Janelle’s trailer and their rude snotty comments. Just recently they had a birthday party for Truley at the McMansion and the older girls looked extremely put out by Truley and Isabel being there. How about Ari smarting off at Christine at the goodbye party. These children are just little mini me of Robin.

My hunch is Robyn’s adult kids don’t want to see Mykelti and Tony. They don’t actually like them. They think they are better than the other kids. Robyn feels this way too so she justifies their lack of interest in visiting by giving them ‘good’ excuses. Kody is dumb, he is easily manipulated and Robyn has managed to convince him that his kids really are the losers of the group. His narcissism is ashamed to get into it and so would rather buy the excuses. 🤷‍♀️

I had a terrible thought....something we need to pray against. When everything heads south....no longer a Sister Wive's check, no more Coyote Pass, no more McMansion, no jobs that can support them....I'm worried about Kody or Robyn being tempted to family annhilation. Of course the kids are damaged by Robyn’s smothering. Look the youngest is still using a pacifier. It is obvious that Aurora is stunted. I kind of get the feeling that none of the adult children know how to make decisions because they have never been allowed to have their own thoughts. The little speech last week by Aurora shows that she is ( I believe ) has to give a defense of her mom at her mom’s insistence.

I feel so bad for Robyn’s children. It seems that they have been so controlled that they are very backward socially and are not encouraged to be independent. The episode where Aurora wanted Kody to go with her to get her ears pierced had me thinking, what 20 year old is not capable of going by herself for something as simple as this?

If they had never been on TV, the kids would still have trauma because of Kody. They likely would have stayed within the polygamist community with polygamist friends and going to a polygamist school or homeschooled. Plus, they likely would have remained poor. Add an emotionally abusive, controlling, narcissistic father and you have a traumatic childhood.

I can't help thinking if Robyn never got involved with the family that they might still be together. They had a nice set up before the show started, a house big enough for all of them, Meri and Janelle both had good jobs, Christine was super mum. It did seem to 'work' for them. All the 'money' from doing the show doesn't seem to have done them any good because Kody is a moron. I just hope Janelle and Meri get something and don't leave empty handed.
