I like Gruev, he is a necessary cog in the midfield and his passing accuracy % is very high. I’d like to keep him as don’t think £10m is a lot and we prob got a bargain at £5m.

Yeah so why are leeds even discussing selling him? Stop and think about why they might look to sell him? What player wants to come back who plays CDM to replace gruev? PHILLIPS!

I agree, if we have to sell someone from midfield, it would be Kamara. I know his pass rate, etc is very good - but he's afraid to shoot - With Rutter's shooting accuracy, we can't have an attacking midfielder who doesn't want to shoot.

Thanks Ger. Another informative update. If we can get £10m to £12m for Gruev I’d take it. That’s double what we paid for him. The more teams in for Cry the better. Hopefully none of the loanees come back but I have a feeling that some may end up back at ER.

We've done this, over the past 5 season, bringing 19, 20, 21 year old kids in but very few of them have progressed into the senior team. IMO, get the senior team sorted ASAP, find out who goes & who stays, then we gotta concentrate on the players we want & have most of them signed up by 1st July for pre-season training & matches. IMO we need 2 players per position = 24 players because, over the years, i'm sick of the major injuries to a already thin bare squad & we end up with square pegs in round holes - that has to STOP We gotta hit the ground running when the league starts & not be chasing numerous players in late August like last summer when the horse had already bolted

I get so annoyed when our players are linked or get linked with moves or are picked up by much smaller unfashionable clubs ie Summerville linked to Bournemouth it’s happened for so many years especially after our relegation in 2004 .. I so hope we make it back to the premiership this season and remain there !!

Great vid as ever Ger, don't really comment but your solidity and neutrality is appreciated. Sell Gruev and Summerville, Summerville makes us PSR compliant, and Gruev whilst being decent, has limited physicality, not possessing premier league level strength or pace. If we can get 45+ mil for the pair. its good business and sets us up moving forward.

The reality is had we gotten Promoted the power is in our hands in terms of where the player goes and sells to. Real Betis can play the " can't afford him " card and for Betis it's cheaper for them to loan him out again and Leeds are powerless because of his wages. Let the crazy Season begin. Cheers Ger 🤜🤛

We should loan Roca to someone else. Real Betis messed us around and claim they can't afford to buy him, so we should loan him elsewhere because we really want to sell these guys sooner rather than later. They want him, buy him permanently otherwise go whistle. We must have a say in where he goes on loan.

@@laurencefarrell2775 I agree. Loans (if we have to allow them) should be with a view to selling the player. If the club can't afford them, then we should not loan him to them - I assume we have some form of say in this. Sending Roca back to Betis is only in the interest of Roca and Betis - it does not help us sell Roca.

@LeedsUnitedTheView I've heard Leeds are 'open' to offers. We shouldn't be opened to offers we need him. Only reason they would be open to offers is if they have already got his position covered with a new player... otherwise why did we sign him in the first place?

Great as all ways Ger Gray and Rutter are the players we need to retain anyone who wants out sell we need committed players who believe in the project going forward, recruitment is key this summer a lot needs clearing out and the right profiles need to come in i believe we need LB RB CB×2 DM/CM FW ×2 one being a true #9 this is a minimum req if we want to win the league we could have up to 8 going out with the loan rats from last session lets cash in and rebuild for the coming championship season 😀.....MOT

im a big fan, i think he does the work people dont see, his position for blocking passing lanes, his tackling and ability to win back the ball have always been good for me. i wouldnt sell.

I love cree. And dont get me wrong here. But I think we could replace him with a better team player. Someone who can cross and pass better. All that said , you probably wont find a more dynamic player who can score as many goals or create something from nothing.

We have to sell obviously I can’t see the likes of Rutter, Gnoto, Meslier,Sumerville, Grey, Firpo, and move on the likes of Bamford , and Piroe as he don’t suite Farke system of 4-2-3-1 , I think we should have moved Farke on as he don’t seem to get the best out of him and his system is easy to play against.

To me gruev they said he was poor first match then best player in the world 2nd match & on wards.then towards back end strictly average to me hes a b team player & not for the long term future. Can't we find goal scoring midfielders & old fashioned centre backs who can bag a goal or two from a corner.

I like gruev but i dunno what Dortmund are seeing in him. He is a decent if somewhat unspectacular midfielder, that is not proven at the highest level.
