I just bought them due to the low price and me being a beginner (I have some very old inliners that I used 23 years ago; and last week when I dusted them off, the buckles came apart). These Roces Helium TIF II seem to deliver a lot for the price - and I especially like the memory buckle and the quick release for the laces. That actually saves time - and the boots feel comfortable, and I can easily find my balance on the boot-frame-wheel combo. And yes, I've already ordered other wheels, as I don't expect these soft low-quality wheels to last long, and deeming from other reviews, the quality of the wheels may actually be dangerous as they quickly brack and may come apart during a ride. The bearings are ABEC 7, but more important than this precision number, is how they roll - and even when not being broken in, they roll very well. The 84mm wheels are a big step up from my old 76mm, but the replacement wheels I bought are only 80mm. I don't think that'll matter all that much, but if I'm wrong, I just have to invest in 84mm wheels, although these are a hassle to find with 84A-85A hardness. The frame is made of extruded aluminium, not cast - which is great for sturdiness and durability. I'm a size 41.5 (EU size) and the size 42 matches me pretty well. I have broad feet, and there's plenty of room in the boots to the sides. Actually a bit too much, but not so much as to cause me to lose balance. I have no idea what they changed from TIF to TIF II, as my skates look exactly the same as the one featured in this review. I chose these over the hugely popular FR Skates FRX, due to the longer frame, flat setup (as opposed to FRX' rockered frame) and up to 84mm wheels (even if I decide to turn to 80mm wheels)... and because I'm fairly certain that I'm going to do more fitness than freestyling.

I'm gonna buy these in a few days, only a women model (the ones with light blue wheels). I will let you know about those as soon as I get them.

Hi Ricardo, having never had a pair of Roces before, how is the sizing. Size up, down or same as regular size. Can't try before you buy around this area. Cheers.............

Hi @RicardoLino, I'm currently considering buying either "Roces HELIUM TIF" or "Rollerblade Macroblade 80". I like to go fast while skating but I'm no pro, I just did it as a teenager for a few years an want to go back using them mainly for fitness purposes and to discover a little bit more of Berlin during spring/summer months. Which one would you recommend me to get? Thanks in advance!

That's wild, I was just trying to find that exact comparison hoping for a forum about it. I'm stuck between them 2 myself. Just ordered the roces heliums but thinking about ordering the macroblade 80s as well to compare.

How long the wheels last is directly related to the wheels hardness...and when mentioning speed it might help to tell us the ABEC rating for the bearings

So, for using it 2-4 times a week, recreative, maybe longer trips, also with my dog, it would be great skates in budget

Tengo unos K2 de los baratos, ¿los Roces esa seria una buena opción para subir un nivel más en la calidad de mis patines? O crees que podría invertir en otro de mejor calidad? Gracias Lino!!!

Hi Rickardo, I have a problem... Every time when I am done inline skating my knee hurts, I do warmups and I also massage the muscels over my knee before I inline skate and I strech. I do slalom and freeride. I know it´s the inline skating that makes my knee hurt because I went on a vacation for two weeks without my inline skates and my knee stopped hurting. My knee still hurts and it is an pain an the @ss. HELP!

Try warming up before skating, Do Quick exercises for 4~min and then take a good 10min stretching AFTER skating. Your skates could be not perfeclty sized for u or not tight enough, in a way your knees make weird efforts to compensate that. You can also record yourself skating and compare your strides with everyone else's to check If u unconsciosly make weird movements and put your knees in wierd angles. U could also Go to a gym and strengthen your leg muscles that will release stress on ur knees. If after all that your knees still hurt you should Just go see a doctor

also a would say - make sure you don't have orthopedic problems w you feet/ flat feet. I think it can cause overstressing for other parts of your body and knees are their closest neighbor

when janice started i thought please say EOSkates, please say EOskates... cracking video as always, thanks for sharing. I like the heel, top cuff design, i think this could be done in aggressive designs (carbon)

@@RicardoLino or the same amount as the bearing but in other cool shit, that's alright too, isn't it..that way you have more stuff to show people and it is more visible than a set of bearings in a wheel...now, how's that for an argument??!! :-D

I used the Roces Argon for about a year now, the skate is almost the same as the one reviewed in the video. What i can say about is that the Roces skates that are on top of their line up (the agressive/street ones and the Tri skates, or a hardboot 4wheeler) doesn't compare to the fitness ones in quality, specially with the wheels and frame. The boot is really good tho, breatheable and supportive. One may think that fitness skate are too soft to skate on the street but the Roces soft boost has some kind of firm shell to it and ankle support is great, the lacing could be better. You didn't mention the bearings, but the ones that came with mine were really great, i was impressed by their quality and i found no desire on upgrading it to a bones of whatever. The Argon comes with 80mm 82a wheels and an aluminum frame that can support 84mm wheels. What frustrated me the most is that in 2019 is really really hard to find 84mm wheels on the market specially harder than 84a. I did my best to make the original ones last a year skating once or twice a week and rotating them as much as possible, but now they are on brink of destruction xD. Roces are great for agressive skates, if u really want one of them get the tri or the hardboot 4wheelers. If u really want a fitness skate u better look for a powerslide, unless u don't care about using 80mm wheels and having wasted space on the frame. Also if u are on a budget it will fit u just fine. In my specific case i had no option cause it was the only skate i could find for my foot size T.T

He (briefly, so easy to miss) mentions the bearings at 6:28, says they're good.

Look for undercover or rollerblade hydrogen wheels, should be pretty widely available and they do high quality 84mm wheels

@@adamlanglois563 i know of those and would be a dream to have hydroven Wheels. In my country though, only one shop sells them and It costs half of a minimum wage 😂 its almost How much i paid for my pair of skates, its simply not feaseable.
