I think this song is actually better in this game compared to Guitar Hero Van Halen. It keeps the full drum solo opening in the intro, and it actually charts 4:39-4:48 on guitar, which GHVH just left empty.

Some of the RB songs have a few "edits/additions" to the game rendition. For example in Welcome Home (Coheed and Cambria) the "oooooh, woaaaaaah" part has more emphasis than the original song. You're not the only one who has noticed too :)
I heard it quite often in Ned's Declassified, a show I watched all the time as a kid. First time I heard this song I thought, "oh, so THAT'S where it came from!"

2 questions 1. Do you know if the DLC song B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Bomb) by System Of A Down was a limited time only DLC song? I haven't played this game in years and I completely forgot many things. 2. What venue is that?
BYOB was removed a few years ago, I guess Harmonix couldn't relicense the song. The only way to play that song now is if you have already purchased it, or have access to an account that has that song bought. The venue is the Endless Setlist venue, I forget the name.
@@JNewsted1988 I only like the smaller venues for certain songs like the Warmup to Moderate tier but some songs that are loud I play on bigger venues. Challenging to Impossible tier I play the bigger venues. The best venues are the video shoot one's, I like the Indie Access and Cable Access and I wish they would allow you to play any song on those venues but it's only certain ones. I would love if the cable access video shoot didn't have cords and music boxes in the venue except the characters and instruments just so it would look more clear. The Harmonix Arena venue in GH2 is cool but I hate the fact that behind the stage is all black and it just looks weird, they should've made it look similar to The Garden venue in GH1 where it wasn't all black and nothing behind the stage. What I also like about GH1 is that it has a no venue cheat which makes it look like a video shoot venue where it's all black. It would be cool if you could disable the crowd as well but you can't but I believe that there was a mod created by LocalH that disables it but he does a lot of hacking and modding on the Harmonix Guitar Hero games.
Awesome! And I’m looking forward to the GH3 DLC. Btw I might have asked this before, but will you go for Smash Hits, Van Halen and WoR? And one last question I know I havent asked yet, will you eventually go for full series FC on bass? RB that is. GH bass is on a totally different level thanks to the open strums wich makes a ton of songs insanely hard to FC.
My ultimate goal is to have a video of every on-disc song from GH and RB, so I'll certainly get around to getting SH, VH, and WoR up. As for the Full series Bass FC, I'm not interested in playing bass at all, I feel like it would be really boring.
I have absolutely no clue why this song is rated the hardest song for guitar on this game. I still haven't managed to complete it yet, but to be fair I haven't played RB2 in years. But honestly now, this song doesn't look that bad. Especially compared to Green Grass And High Tides from RB1. All this song has are those little bits in the first solo that are hard to play. And the second solo is really not hard. I actually think Visions is the hardest because you have the fast strumming, and there's a lot more consistency to how hard the song really is. It's just a way more intimidating song, though Painkiller does have that epic finale at the end of the song. Visions may not have that but it is a harder song, and maybe even the only song in a Rock Band game I really just hate.
@@Darkshock25 Either way I think Visions deserves to be the final song instead. This is very similar to what I think happened in Guitar Hero III with Raining Blood, where it shouldn't be that early in the final tier but I guess in gh3's case not the last song either.

Harmonix wanted to do a song that is impossibly hard ‘cause thought it would be funny to see their reactions of the song that isn’t like 7 or 8 minutes long. And plus Visions has 1335 notes on Expert, and Painkiller has 2029 on Expert. Was that the info you wanted? If not, send that question to Harmonix.
Nope, Visions is just unconfortable to play. Also, I don't think either Raining Blood is the hardest song on GH3, believe me, the Devil Went to Georgia is the hardest song on GH3, even if you play it as a normal song without battling Lou. And the RB1 final song is like that thing that Harmonix did with Free Bird on GH2, just an "stamina test" with very repetitive sequences, but if you are an experimented GH/RB player you will be find those tipe of songs really easy. Painkiller is like that thing Harmonix did with Play With Me on GH:80's, a song with really tricky sequences that can send you back to the setlist screen instantly, with a lot of tempo changes.
@@edwinalexis593 Believe me, TDWDTG deserves to be the last song on GH3, I just meant that Raining Blood doesn't work well as the opener for the last tier.
