Ahhh one of my favorites by this band, I just wish the guitar chart was within my reach or that the double kicks were charted in the 1x version as well, but still awesome stuff. If you ever consider to chart more of the behemoth DT songs, please consider Sacrificed Sons or Lost Not Forgotten, I wanted to see those in rhythm games since the begining of time. No matter what you do though, I'd be happy with whatever, as you continue to prove to be probably the best charter around (alongside this awesome Onyxite dude). Keep it up!!
Is it possible to still download this song? The url doesn't work and the download on C3 doesn't work either. Charts look amazing and I would love to play!
if theres any improvements i'd make (having litteraly no experience in charting songs) is that the intro would be bettet off being regular notes instead of hammer-ons. it just seems a bit too out of place and kindof removes some of the difficulty.
It is a pretty slow tempo yeah, it's kind of on the cutoff between just strumming everything and using hammerons. I can see your point. :) There are songs like "Beyond This Life" that I had a worse problem with that, it was just at that tempo that was basically in the middle of using hammerons and strums.
+mazegeek999 the chorus looks odd compared to how I would play it on a guitar, but the most disturbing thing is at 4:16 where I would have kept the melody that starts at 4:07 rather than doing a unison with the keyboard. There’s a flurry of notes I can’t quite map to a guitar part there. It catches up with what I hear at 4:25
Well I guess your big concern isn't more about the notes themselves, but with which guitar line was charted. All I can say is that's pretty subjective, but Onyxite (with my review) charted it that way because there is a new guitar melody being played momentarily. It also contrasts with the bass which is just playing the low melody instead. As for the chorus, that was done through tabs as most of the hard-to-hear stuff were. We also have drumless versions of these songs do the other instruments are much easier to hear. Also there are a million ways to play the chorus section on guitar and for it to 'sound good' since it's really just a simple chord progression.
Well, if you look at various guitar covers of this song you’ll see that noone plays the part that was charted, also I think that part is a particularly fun one to play but it’s subjective I guess. For the chorus I would have added many more two notes chord because the way it is played on a guitar is two notes separated by an octave so for the sake of being more realistic I’d say it would be better with two notes chords. Anyway, it’s up to you !
