5:54 For those unaware, this was originally a Big Rock Ending that was planned for the final setlist. The song featured, after doing some digging, was a Wavegroup Cover of "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses. The song was technically finished and used for Reveal Gameplay of what Rock Band 1 was originally going to look like, but either due to Activision getting the Master Recording rights, or contract problems, the song was cut from the final game. It is unknown if the song is still hiding somewhere in the game files of one particular version of the game, or in the vaults of Harmonix/Wavegroup, but the only surviving part of the entire song is this part of the Guitar tutorial. And no, it does not make an appearance in the RB1 DLC Master Recording Charts.

@@donnaken15 Yep. The rough 2 minutes and 54 seconds of music is the only surviving clip of what could've been. Someday somebody will find the remaining bits of the song or a higher quality rip of the cover.
Someone has made a custom chart about this mysterious song,a full chart. All the chart like the gameplay (he separate instruments but used too the original song to match in some errors),with the Big Rock Endings original,and sounds great

Guitar Hero long notes are called long notes, Rock Band long notes are called sustained notes. Why? It's easier to say long notes than to say sustained notes.
I mean, it's all a game one way or another, it's just a design decision. "Long Note," while not widely accepted as the legitimate term, might be easier to understand than "sustained note" which IS the widely accepted term. So they both have reasons, but yeah, Rock Band (for the most part) uses more actively correct terminology
Josh Kary Maybe you're right. Just a bit interesting, because Harmonix made the first two Guitar Hero games, and then they made the Rock Band games, and yeah, differences.
