My parents stopped here when we were moving from Florida back to Indiana when I was a child (approx. 1957/58). I have never forgotten the Hall of the Mountain King and the Gnome Village. They have done an exceptional job on the Gardens. The walk through the area has been enlarged tremendously through the years. BEAUTIFUL -- WELL DONE TENNESSEE.
this was a really good look at the attraction, thanks for taking us along! i have always wanted to see this myself. hoping to take my wife and kids there some day soon!
Such a cool place to visit. We've been several times over the years. We went about a year earlier during "Rocktober Fest" 2019. It was a lot of fun and great food too. Thanks for sharing your video.
Growing up in Chattanooga there used to be this program in the schools every year where if you read so many books you got a ticket to Rock City so I have been quite a few times. The barn you saw in the valley is Blowing Springs Farm which Rock City owns. Normally they do a giant corn maze down there every autumn but because of Covid they didn't do it this year. I do suggest you try to get back there around Christmas when they do their Garden of Lights
Another great video! We visited Rock City last year. Beware of the trail if you're afraid of heights! Otherwise, a great attraction. We also liked Ruby Falls.
💜 😊 Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your videos! Yours & Molly's voice is just always familiar and so comforting. Thank you for sharing all your good times. 👌😀
Love this place! One of my favorite parts is, if you lean towards the Fairytale Cavern dioramas and sniff, it smells like an old-school Fantasyland dark ride!
Man, I love the narrows. I did a little bit of hiking in the narrows of Zion National Park. That's a really cool place to see. So many stone arches and bridges. Have to watch again!!
I would think you can bring a backpack, not sure about drinks. I would say hiking gear isn’t really needed, takes an hour or two to wander around, no big hills or anything.
Another great video, can't believe how many places you still visit, especially with the pandemic, also I felt claustrophobic watching some parts of this video 👍👍👍👍👍
Went there a lot in the 70's when I was very young. I imagine its not ADA friendly because of when it was designed (1932). I still have remember being silly scared of Fat Man squeeze and the swinging bridge. Parents weren't afraid as much of "rowdy" toddlers back then. I don't recall anyone dying of falling off or getting hurt there. LOL Thanks for sharing the video, takes me back. Hope I can visit again one day.
Awesome video. Rhyme I learned at Meramac Caverns. Stalagmites might reach the ceiling, Stalactites might fall if not tight. That was about 52 years ago. LOL
It has an ada pathway you have to turn left before entering the red doors. Very majestic place to visit and amazing how the paths go through the rocks.
We've driven by dozens of times and never went for the same reasons Molly said she never went...definitely want to go now. Question: Is there an option to do the walk through again? Like go back and do the routes you didn't take before (i.e. you skipped Stone Bridge)?
In the loop did you guys go to Ruby Falls as well now I ain't sure if it's open this year or not me my girlfriend went last year and I can tell yeah it get's very packed once you get down there but the Falls is so beautiful though.
@@IntheLoopPodcast Gotcha but hey loved the camera view on some of it where you zoomed in wish I could say my phone could look that good when it was at full zoom what kind of camera do you use.
@@IntheLoopPodcast that's a really nice camera and I got to be honest I watch alot of RU-vidrs and unless they are clueless about there quality picture even RU-vidrs who have over millions of subscribers I'll be honest with ya your video content looks amazing all your videos do but the Rock city content with the views and when you showed that red barn I was blown away at how perfect it looked I felt like I was standing right in front of it you do really nice work with your content.
No, it's in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. You cross TN/GA the state line just before you get there when coming from Chattanooga area. Lookup their address online.
@@OutdoorsWithShawn yeah when I went my dad was confused because he thought it was in Tennessee but we went on a mountain and it took us right back into the very top of Georgia
I'm not interested in seeing this. First, the price is way too high. The pathways are dangerous for people with balance issues. The rails are very, very low. I wonder if there have been deaths there.
