I put a traxxas xl5 esc, a traxxas receiver, and a traxxas servo in a maisto rock crawler and it was a lot better than stock. Fully proportional steering and throttle now. Thinking about changing the motors but that looks like quite a chore for the final result. Its still a maisto rock crawler after all is said and done.

sick! that body you did really looks great for the MRC! Absolutely one of the best on YT. I'm doing a 6x6 amphibious MRC soon, they float well already =D

thanks for commenting man!!!!!!!!firsty it was made out of straws but it was not so durable so now it is made out of hard plastic tubes.actually tubes from an automatic watering system and it is quite durable!!!!

thanks for the info my friend!!!!generally,i think you sould not do too many mods on it for the reason you mentioned but if you dont want to waste so much money on a good crawler,it is a great idea to make some cheap mods.also it is a great idea to put two more powerfull motors for extra power.its a great truck to put mods on it.however it depends on each person.thanks for your great comment!!!!!!!!

Hey, I have been looking into making a body for my maisto. I watched your vid on the body itself, but what materials did you use for the framework? And is whatever you used durably enough for rollovers? Thanks and keep the maisto vids coming.

i seen this truck on rcsparks, sick work.... what did you use inside the rims? This video doesn't show all the wicked detail like the rcsparks blog. see ya bud!
