Hello! Could you help with bite detection technique. I used alarms rings but now I have soft tip on my new rod. Plenty of video shows the use of rings for sea breams (waiting for second bite). If I understand, most surfcasters do not use alarm rings at all and put the rod with a bit open brake, like you use, and watch the tip of the rod for bite. How do you detect the bite in your case (its hard to see how open is your brake). If I understand, you need to have closed brake to see a bite on soft tip? Thank you, Matic
Hi, i understend. I will make a video on this theme. I wait for a big pull or for a special movement on the soft tips to see if a fish is on its not a 100% technique but all the surfcasters i know use it. Next video is alredy filmed. But the second one i will explain in detail thanks for the idea
@@lightfishingthank you I tried with my new rod and it works! I used rings before. Must be very cautious about the bite though (with circles I could be lazy sometimes) :)
