Rock Fishing Windang Island, Wollongong, NSW 

I have been in Wollongong a bit for family visits, and to beat the traffic have been leaving very early from Sydney and arriving down there shortly after sun up.
I have always looked at Windang Island and been interested in fishing the location.
After inspecting my Navionics on my phone it looks like there is a massive reef out front, so I walked to the edge of the island at a point I felt was far enough from obvious danger and just started casting.
A few casts in I was on to a nice little #kingfish.
I worked most of the area including beaches and the inlet's break wall with no luck after the first fish.
