Foi mas há um erro grave em relação a roupa que ele usou no dia dessa apresentação e colocaram o ator que representou ele com um colan ou colete, pois quem ve a apresentação da banda depois do filme vai ver que a representação do show no rock in rio na foi fiel, ou seja, faltaram com o respeito e não foram fiéis aos acontecimentos daquele dia histórico, sem contar que deixaram de fora o mega show realizado em 1986 no sagrado estádio de Wembley antes de sofrer uma modernização por completo anos mais tarde e também a participação dele com a Monsserat Cabalet na festa de encerramento das Olímpíadas de 1988 em Seul, onde cantaram juntos para os jogos de Barcelona em 1992 que foi praticamente a última aparição pública de Freddie Mercury ainda vivo depois de ser acometido pela AIDS. o que daria sem sobra de dúvidas um maravilhoso filme com mais de 2h e contaria fielmente toda a trajetória da banda e também dele.

Creio que a do filme nem é a do Rock in Rio, é da apresentação deles em São Paulo em 1981, a primeira vez que o queen veio ao Brasil. Ainda assim, a roupa tá diferente mas por mim não vejo como desrespeito, até pq os diretores avisaram que iam tomar diversas liberdades artisticas.
Com o preço que o ingresso é, se deixassem a gente subia no palco e tocava os instrumentos juntos, pagar pra ficar só erguendo os bracinhos igual aos gringos não rola.

Eu soube que essa música do Queen não era uma grande sucesso no Reino Unido, nem em outros lugares pelo mundo, só no Brasil e na Argentina que essa música era muito popular. Aí quando os caras da banda ouviram a multidão cantar no Brasil, eles ficaram muito emocionados. E as pessoas no Reino Unido viram pela TV a multidão de brasileiros cantar, e começaram a gostar da música, ela começou a tocar com mais frequência nas rádios inglesas depois desse show no Brasil. (Não sei se isso está certo, é o que eu ouvi alguém dizer)

Era janeiro de 1985 eu tinha 24 anos e estava na arquibancada do Maracanã à esquerda do palco. Eram 250 mil pessoas cantando todas as músicas, um mar de gente. A sinergia foi total. Este show e o do ano seguinte no estádio de Wembley foram considerados os maiores e melhores da carreira do Queen. Após a canção "Love of my life" cantada por toda a cidade do rock, que eu cantei a plenos pulmões, Brian May disse: “Essa música é muito especial para as pessoas da América do Sul. Obrigado por fazê-la tão especial para todas as outras pessoas do mundo”, disse com a voz embargada de emoção. Pois é, esta música não era badalada na europa, mas depois do RIRio de 85 isto mudou. Este show foi considerado uma das maiores performances ao vivo da história do rock. A gente vive o momento e só muito tempo depois que se dá conta que viveu a História.
Presenciei a saida do publico desse show...tinha ingresso pro show do dia seguinte.... não conheço bem o Rio ...mas o suficiente pra saber que não era o Maracanã...kkk

Assim, man. Essa foi uma das principais apresentações ao vivo que uma banda já fez na história. Mas o melhor show foi no Live Aid, pela história da banda. Eles tinham brigado, estavam em baixa, Freddy com AIDS, aí a banda se reuniu pra fazer esse "último show" de última hora e foi a principal banda do evento.
This show was legendery! My mom - who, by the way, is a huge fan of Queen - told me that she wanted to go to this show but my grandpa forbid because she was too young. The apartment she lived was very close to the place where Rock in Rio take place, so she sat by the window listening to the whole show and when that song came on (it's her favorite song) she sang with crowd, from her apartment. I'm 100% sure she wasn't the only one doing that hahahahaha 😂

My mom was in that crowd that day singing her heart out to one of her favorite bands. To this day she tells me the story and gets emotional about how beautiful it was to be in the middle of that. It was such a memorable moment for Queen that they even added that in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie :)

That is considered, not only the best Queen's concert of all times but the BEST CONCERT of all times, because of the connection between the entire public and the band. And you are right, by 80's I would not even risk that 5% of that crowd knew English...but we memorized the lyrics. I've learned English by memorizing the pronunciation of songs...then I would take the lyrics and I'd already know how to pronounce that word.
I was there!!!! Remember, in those days there wasn't internet or cells phones, now because the evolution of technology it is easier to access and learn English. Mind blowing moment of my life!
