Today we are doing the free self-guided tour of the Nethercutt Museum (part of the Nethercutt Collection) in Sylmar, California. The Museum building houses over 100 classic cars from the first half of the 20th century. The museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Just show up and show your vaccine card and walk right in!
Don't forget that if you would like the two hour guided tour of the Nethercutt Collection (with more of the award-winning automobiles), you will need to book tickets online. Tickets are only $10 each and well worth it. More details on my guided tour video.

Most of the songs are from an album called "Drive Like Crazy" and include the song "The Rhythm of the Ride" by Evert Z. The music is intended to conjure up images of driving on the open road, and some of the sounds are reminiscent of the horns used on classic cars. Thank you for watching :)

Well done. Looks like you covered the whole place! So many interesting pieces. Loved the 1930 dual-cowl caddy, and the Minerva (does that have any useful script on display :) ? ). Nice music choices too!!

I tried to watch but the music drove me away. We are car fans, we love cars. All you have to do is show us the cars. Let us see all the car, then the interesting details. That is all we need. We do not need music - you will not get 1 additional viewer because of the music but you will certainly put people off. Loud music and fast cutting are what car fans hate about car shows on TV. You are falling into the same trap. I will go and find another channel.

Did you try the Porsche or Mercedes videos? Porsche has voiceover. Might be more your style. Also slower pans. Everyone has different opinions. I've been told by car enthusiasts to talk about the cars and then that video didn't do as well. Lemme know if the Porsche one is more to your liking as it's completely different.

@@primetraveltime Got half way tthrough the Mercedes one. again the music drove me away. It is intrusive. Some points that I hope will help you; there was no commentary telling us what we were seeing. For example, the 500K to 540K section. These are world famous cars yet no explanation of each eg The Stalin Car: I saw it, I know but most people will not. The "Marlene" - no comment or explanation. The gift to Stalin from Hitler, the car they made specially for Marlene Dietrich, these are interesting, historical items, yet no comment.
