If you listen to the isolated bass track it's actually no 7th fret A being played the E is always the open E and no hitting the 7th fret E then open E but the rest of it sounds congruent to the bass track but leave the 7th fret of the A out of it but only when you play the 5th of E and A and only hit the 7th of the A with one hit then open E and not hitting the 7th of the A
