A little late to this one, I see. I understand everyone's point of view, so I'll leave my own here for anyone seeking more opinions. For me this book was a delight, I read it very quickly because it was such a page turner, it was hard, at times, to close the book. I also feel like the writing was very clever, given the twists in the book, I can imagine the writer must have been very careful to write without giving too much away too soon, but at the same time if you reread the book you'll catch on to small details that hint at the culmination of the plot. The characters, I understand that people can't relate or get attached to, at the end of the day i think that none of them are 'goodies'. I confess I didn't see the twists coming (none of them), and the book kept me entertained. So in end I loved it and recommend to anyone in search of a light read that will strike you by surprise.

I agree with your thoughts completely. I thought it was written in a very exciting way that kept my interest. A few of the twists just felt too unbelievable for me, but I definitely found it to be a fun one to read!

A lot of things did not add up in this book, not relatable, not logical not explained at all. Could you please recommend your top 3 thrillers as I'm really interested in this genre?

Yes, I absolutely agree with you! Oh, that's a tough question! I'm planning to do a video on my absolute favourite thrillers of all time in 2022. So watch out for that video. The first one that comes to mind right now is The Perfect Child by Lucinda Berry. It is very dark though and very disturbing. Hope you enjoy it! ☺

Wow. I disagree completely. I really enjoyed it and I’ve been reading thrillers a long time. I listened to it so maybe it was a better listen than a read. I recommended it to friends.

I’m with you, accept that I felt more angry you. The characters are so self-centered that it made it difficult to even care what happened. Plot “twists” are so obviously on the horizon, that I felt manipulated. Last thing…snow makes TRACKS when walked upon!!! Just irritating, on the whole.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy this book either! But also pleased to hear someone else shares my opinion, haha. Irritating is a very good word for this book!

I liked it well enough but I thought the ending was underwhelming. I expected more. The setting was good, though.

I quite disagree. I have read many thriller mysteries, it’s my favorite genre actually, and thIs book is unputdownable. It’s fast paced and I like fast paced books.

Sorry to hear you didn’t like it - I’ve been seeing this book pop up everywhere. I’m not a seasoned thriller reader though so maybe I won’t be able to predict the twists as much as you. Do you have any thriller recommendations?

**** spoiler alert****I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My first Alice too. I did not see any of the twists coming. I just didn’t like the loose ends that weren’t tied at the end. I can handle tying some o them myself but not all.. but overall a brilliant read. Maybe you didn’t enjoy it because you misunderstood some of the very basic facts like Amelia writing the letters like you mention in the first few seconds of the video and that she lets Adam read those?
