Macaulay Primary School learned all about marine life during their brilliant residential at Rippledown. The class took up their nets and went rock pooling on the local beach at St Margaret's Bay. They found Green crabs, Shrimps and even a Blenny fish - who can survive out of water for up to six hours!
This film captures the children's experience in their own words, giving them a useful record of their day. They can use this in their follow up activities in the classroom. Parents will also get a deeper understanding of their child's outdoor learning experience.
Rippledown Outdoor Learning Centre supports the Learning Away #brilliantresidentials campaign. The centre, run by The Bay Trust, dedicates itself to immersive outdoor learning experiences.
