These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!! They are awesome musicians! Besides being rock stars they are smart, humble, funny and the nicest people on earth! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
First of all, welcome to the party we call The Warning. The rest of The Warning Army (TWA) will be along soon. Just because Dany does not do guitars solos in to many song does not mean she is not capable of throwing one down. Pau (Pow) sings lead from behind the kit in a handful of songs and that still blows my mind considering the brain power it takes to have the limb independence, then to sing a different melody than you 4 limbs are moving at and not to mention the breath control it takes. Ale (Ah-lay) is the calm cool more reserved thunder groove master and youngest sister. And she is the hidden gem of the trio as she prefers not to sing but she is very capable. Thanks for checking them out.
Dany is mistress of riffs like Keith Richards or Pete Townshend and smooth soloes like David Gilmour. Pau/Ale are like living metronomes and Pau's screams give the rest. This is The Warning! :) Thanks for great reaction
Also relevant to know is how tiny she is. She’s barely 5feet tall and is very petite, yet can pound the drums as hard as someone a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier. All while making it look effortless.
Also worth noting that if you pay close attention to our petite Pau when she is playing and both arms come up at the same time for another big hit, the definition in her shoulders from all the years working the skins and tins. I bet she is much stronger than her small frame leads us to assume.
I predict someday Alejandra will be thrown into the spotlight by circumstances. (Sore throat, illness, whatever). Hopefully she will just start when she has something to share and we look forward to that day. ❤️❤️❤️
The drummer, Pau (Paulina) is about 5 feet tall, but there's 10 tons of dynamite packed into that 5 foot package! The guitarist Dani (Daniella) brings a special blend of happy-fun-ferocity! Ale (Alejandra) on bass balances the other two with her smooth, cool, graceful elegance behind her Swiss watch accurate groove machine. Those girls know hard work and have busted their butts to get to where they are! They honestly and righteously earn their audiences. "Talented" just seems an insufficient word to describe them.
AGREED! THE DRUMMER DID HIT ME LIKE A DYNAMITE EXPLOSION, BUT ALL 3 OF THEM ARE INSANELY TALENTED. YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. “TALENTED” IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! 💜🤟🤠
@@PhilZero The best quote I've heard about Pau's drumming is that "she hits her drums like they owe her money." That about sums it up. She also practices singing while running on a treadmill to keep her breath control.
PLEASE just stay with this concert and you won’t believe how much talent and fun unfolds. They are mesmerizing! Your reaction was fantastic - very insightful. Here for you!
Yes, this is the most IMPORTANT rock band of Gen Z. All 22 songs at this concert are incredibly well recorded, performed, lit, video recorded, mixed, mastered, edited... This is how rock concerts should be filmed. The Warning had been playing for about nine years when this was recorded. They started at 7, 10, and 12, and went viral two years later. That's when they got very serious about it all. This concert was when they were 17, 20, and 22. You will not find any bad songs in their repertoire. Even the stuff they wrote when the bass player was in fourth grade is decent. They have hundreds of videos on their channel. Their first EP came out in early 2015, and you can watch them play it live in June of that year. It's the Live at Luceo de Monterrey concert. That was at their school. It was also an audition to get them into the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, summer program. A year later, they were giving a TEDx Talk at University of Nevada. It went over so well, they did it again a year later, after they cut their first album, *21st Century Blood.* The title track debuted as a video that won several awards. Then they wrote a rock novel concept album! *Queen of the Murder Scene* is presented live at Lunario, November, 2018. It is a tragedy about a girl whose obsession with a person who doesn't really know she exists results in murder and more mayhem. It is an incredible story, told by teenagers. *Error* is the album they were promoting at Teatro Metropolitan, although they played songs from all their albums. *Keep Me Fed* is their next album, coming out on June 28. Five singles from it are already out there. The band is currently touring in Europe and the UK. Watch the live version of *Hell You Call a Dream* from their tenth anniversary show at Pepsi Center, CDMX. Then watch the official video of *Automatic Sun* (live festival video with studio audio overdubbed). Welcome to a very fun, deep DEEP rabbit hole!
You haven't even scratched the surface with these ladies. Despite being so young, they've been a band for 10 years, have 3 albums full of great music and they're about to release their 4th one on June 28th. They have lots of amazing music videos and professionally recorded live performances, like the one in this video. If you wanna check out some of their newest material I recommend "Hell you call a dream" live from Pepsi Center or "Automatic sun" from Tecate Pal Norte Festival (studio version). You have been Warned! 🤘⚡
They have been performing for a decade. They started performing as The Warning in 2014 at the ages of 14, 12 and 9. Check out the latest song Automatic Sun that has only been out a week. To see the drummer sing lead; check out Dust to Dust or 23 from this same concert.
@@PhilZero The video of their full concert at *Teatro Metropolitan* will keep you busy for a while since they simply don't know how to write bad songs.
I believe they took the name in 2013, because they were in a Battle of the Bands, and needed a name for the band. They envisioned their first Album which they were going to call The Warning, figuring they would get a "REAL" name later, but The Warning stuck.
Hey Phil, this was a great first reaction to " The Warning." It sounds like you're going to join us. I welcome you to a rollercoaster of Rocking good times! They just celebrated 10 years as an official recording band. That's right, Ale, the bassist was 9 years old! Long Live DPA, The Warning 🤘⚡️🫶🇲🇽
All three sisters are classically trained pianists since they were tiny children. They still play the piano when they compose songs. All three can sing lead while playing their respected instruments. The drummer can sing while playing drums, hard rock or ballads. They sing in English, Spanish, some French and a smidgen of Japanese. (Mukha kang Filipino.)
3 choices for your next reaction from The Warning: 1) 23, from the Teatro Metropolitan concert 2) EVOLVE, from the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards 3) Hell You Call A Dream at Pepsi Center CDMX (last year) Since you seem to enjoy Pau (Paulina, the drummer), my vote goes to 23.
I agree. HELL YOU CALL A DREAM is one of the greatest Rock songs I have ever heard! I would suggest “23” to Phil because he will appreciate the complexity, and yes to EVOLVE for the mighty Pau.
At the time of filming, Dany (guitar) was 22, Pau (pronounced POW, drums) was 20, and Ale (pronounced Ah-lay, bass) was 17. They did a 90 minute set with that energy the entire way through at 7300 feet elevation. It blows my mind. Their new album is gonna be fire.
I have been saying for many years now that these young ladies would one day be known world wide and now I honestly believe The Warning will single-handedly bring rock music back to main stream status. Yes, there are other good rock bands out there, but none of them seem to have that “it” factor of which The Warning obviously have. I have friends who have said they were never really into rock, now listen to and follow The Warning. I also believe they will one day be recognized as the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition. It is not just the fact that they are masters of their individual instruments, or the fact that they write their own music and lyrics. They honestly love what they are doing. Yes, they are masters at creating great music, but they live for their on stage interaction with their fans. No band has ever had such a love and appreciation for their followers than do these three young ladies. All three of them sing, and they harmonize like no other rock band ever has. Their vocals are literally what gives them the edge over all other power trios that has ever existed! The Warning are destined to dominate the world of music for as long as they choose to do so. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
So I adore, je t'adore DPA. But some statements are a bit over the top, like "no band has harmonized" like them. Remember Queen? Greatest power trio? How about Rush? That said, all the above is TRUE. Great connection to the audience. GIANT live energy, stage presence, sass, the "my favorite TWB song is the last one I heard", can't live without some Warning in my morning, day, evening... Many try to compare them to some genre or other. Maybe one they loved and miss. But it is evident to me that this is a genre all its own. WARNING MUSIC! THAT IS ALL!
I think Maneskin have something of that 'it' rock-star attitude too, but you are quite right that none of us who have been watching for years will be remotely surprised when these 3 are one of the biggest bands in the world. I'm even prepared to consider the possibility that they could eventually eclipse Rush, Nirvana and Cream. Perhaps 'have as much influence as' would be a better term - no-one can really be 'greatest' - it's too subjective. They certainly have the potential for extraordinary longevity as a band if they don't get fed up of it.
@@tomcanfield705 sorry for the delayed response my friend. I do remember Queen, I have all their albums and have seen them live, what an amazing show it was. Rush…besides Pink Floyd, Rush has been my all time favorite band (I also have all their albums and have seen them live multiple times). I did not say they eclipses Rush now, for they have decades to go before they can come close to building the legacy Rush has built. But The Warning are young, and realistically are just beginning their rise to the top. Rush, Cream, early Grand Funk Railroad, Triumph, the list goes on, and yes, I am well aware that what I say is flamboyant to say the least, but I knew from the very first time I saw them back in mid 2015 that The Warning was something very special. I may be wrong, but at the very least, The Warning will, without any doubt in my mind be added to the list of the greatest influences in music for many decades to come. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Welcome to The Warning! The entire Teatro Metropolitan concert is fantastic, you can't go wrong with any song from the show. I'd suggest checking out their two most recent songs, Hell You Call A Dream (live) & Automatic Sun (live video, studio audio). If you'd like to go back in time, check out their 2017 TedX Talk from the University of Nevada. Buckle up, you're in for a fun ride...You've Been Warned!
THE WARNING ARMY IN DA HOUSE!!!!! Welcome to the best rabbit hole OF YOUR LIFE! Glad you found them! Now fasten your seatbelt, put your tray in an upward position and get ready to be mind blown by the talent of these 3 Queens of Rock!
Great reaction thank you that's the way you start a show. TW are the real deal they are honest hardworking musicians and great song writers. Live performances are their superpower they always deliver. The two new songs they released recently are pretty awesome. Hell you call a Dream live at the Pepsi Center is a real banger.
If there is a revival of Rock Music (I hope, I Hope), The Warning will be leading the way! They are putting FUN back in Rock! Check out any song from this live show and be AMAZED! Try "Disciple" and see Dany (Guitar) and Pau (drums) trade lead vocals! You've been Warned!
Great video, Phil. Thanks for commenting during the video, and throwing some knowledge on us. Next up? Gotta watch them perform "Evolve" at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023. Also, I like that one commenter's suggestion of doing the whole Live @ Teatro Metropolitan show in order, 22 songs, especially since you just reacted to the first one of that show. Oh, they have been doing this for a decade. Go check out their 10-year old performance of Enter Sandman that went viral.
Welcome to The Warning! They never miss They never disappoint They always deliver Their Voices are extra instuments and their harmonies are made in heaven Viva #TheWarning
And...if you're into their gear setup, search "Gearmasters The Warning" here on YT. As a "Boomer" in their Army, I have to smile whenever I listen to these girls. As you noticed, they've been brought up listening to music from the 80's on. They're staying "in their lane" and keeping their music simple and catchy - if there was "Top 40" music on the radio still, they would be dominant.
Welcome to The Warning Army! Even though they are still young The Warning has been rocking stages for over 10 years now. Seeing as my fellow recruits have already flooded the comments I'm sure you've got plenty of good suggestions so my recommendation is to just watch it all. They never disappoint!
The Warning have a way to bring a modern approach to familiar sounds, blending classic rock, hard rock, grunge and pop and turning it into something fresh and unique. You will get tons of info in the comments about these ladies. I definitely recommend watching them live and I would suggest "Hell You Call a Dream" from the Pepsi Center as a good follow-up. And “Automatic Sun” (more hard rock/grunge). Both off their upcoming new album to be released in June. By the way, I watch a lot of reaction videos. That was fantastic. You really educated me on a number of things. New sub.
I was late to The Warning party and now I'm borderline obsessed. All three sisters are insanely talented. If you want to hear more of Pau (Paulina, the drummer/backup vocals) singing, checkout Dust to Dust, 23, Narcisista and Revenant at this same concert. She sings lead on all four. She also shares lead with Dany (Daniella, guitarist/lead singer) on Survive and Disciple. They write all of their own music and I think that their original song count is now in the mid or upper 50's. They've released five singles from their upcoming album (their 4th) Keep Me Fed, to be released on June 28th. I've yet to hear one of their songs that I didn't like and my favorite is the last one that I heard. They still perform one cover (more of a reinvention), Enter Sandman by Metallica, and its the 1st track on Metallica's Blacklist album. My favorite rendition is their live performance of it at the Teatro Metropolitan concert. Keep on rocking, you've been warned!
Thank you for this reaction, the breakdowns was something I hadn't seen much of for The Warning. As somebody else said this is one of the best first reactions to The Warning I have seen. 😃 My personal favorite song where Pau, the drummer is lead, is 23 from this same concert. This whole concert is top quality. I really like More and Evolve The Warning did at MTV video music awards.
Hola, great first reaction of what is, in my opinion, the best rock band out there! They're unbelievably talented musicians - nothing but pure joy watching & listening to them. I believe "the army" is on the way in by now; brace yourself! Gracia por la reacción y saludos desde Valencia ✌️💚
This band is well worth your time to get to know. They have been a band over 10 years, and it's well documented. Start at the re beginning and watch them grow up like many of us have done.
Welcome and be Warned! Their videos start when they were children. Check out Enter Sandman. They were 14, 12, and 9 years old. This video currently has over 25 million views and they got a shout out by Metallica. Then when they were older Metallica asked them to do a remake of the song which appears on their Blacklist album. I'll come back with links. Be prepared. The Warning army will be descending on you.
Man, I just discovered them 2 days ago and I can’t stop. This is not even close to their best song neither their best performance. They are legit. Btw, good analysis, Today I’ve been watching multiple reactions to this band and yours is the best.
Loved the analysis! I always enjoy reactors that can add something besides 'oh, this is good". Yes, all 3 ladies can sing quite well. This band has harmonies and hooks for days. Having 3 singers who are siblings really gives them a lot of freedom to mix and match depending on what the song needs. The drummer sings lead on about 20% of the songs, a few songs is split lead between the drummer and guitarist. And the bass player has filled in on lead for a couple songs when her sister is under the weather or needs a lighter vocal load. I hope you continue this journey of exploring The Warning. They have 3 full albums, an EP, and so far have released 5 songs from their upcoming 4th album. I look forward to you discovering how much the bassist does in this group. She carries a lot of the load basically filling in for a rhythm guitar. She is also known to her sisters as the human metronome. When their click-track isn't working, they look to her to keep the time. And she is perfectly happy to let her sisters be the flashy ones, while she just coolly holds it all down.
Welcome to The Warning Army and the best musical journey you never knew existed. Commended and enjoyed you musical knowledge too. Saludos desde México Phil. ❤️🇲🇽
I came across a video of theirs in 2023. They were in their teens, and Ale was about 9 years old. I had no idea that video was 10 years old. When I searched them out on RU-vid I came across this very concert. Needless to say my mind was completely blown. Instant fan.
Hold on tight, because this was just the first song of the night. They don’t just play their best songs first either, because every one they play is your favorite, until the next one. You’re on to a good start, can’t wait to see you really dig in. You’ll feel like you’ve been living under a rock when you realize the depth of their catalog at barely 20 years old.
You Have Been Warned . . Welcome to The Warning . . A band for over 10 years . . Yes . 10 years . They have 60 original songs from 2 EPs and their 4th album is due to drop June28th . . Phil, you have just come across a band that will become a obsession, as others suggest go down the set list of live at Teatro Metropolitan August 2022, a good introduction to a super talented trio with substantial library of great songs, power & passion.
They celebrated 10 years in the industry in 2023 and the youngest is just 19! Just watch the whole damn concert to better understand them- you have only seen the tip of the iceberg that is The Warning! Entire 2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert (actual concert starts around the 2:00 minute mark). It is time stamped so you know what is being played. You just saw the first song. Watch for the sings the drummer sings lead on too (while drumming or while out front owning it).: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7hbBa1-1p7M.html
@@PhilZero Here is their first viral video from 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old doing Enter Sandman- by the way, Metallica saw it an shouted them out for it way back then... the rest is history. 2014 Metallica Enter Sandman cover from their basement studio affectionately called “The Warning Cave”: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1boUYB9LFJY.html 2015 performances of Muse’s Hysteria (10-year-old Ale´ steals the show on bass): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fU26wmlF3yg.html 2016 1st Ted X Talk: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dyJlh0tNK6Y.html 2017 2nd Ted X Talk: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pj5ue3M-v6o.html
Nice reaction, Phil. You're perceptive and knowledgeable, which is pretty refreshing when adrift in a sea of poseur reactors these days who seem to think all they have to do is show up. These chicas are pretty stellar, as your continued journey of discovery will make abundantly clear.
Your analysis and love for music is really good. The Warning Army will soon populate your channel in droves. You have been Warned. I suggest you check out Evolve live from the MTV VMAs 2023.
They do have two Spanish songs but there are a couple more in their fourth album that hasn't been released yet. The drummer Paulina (Pau) has been playing the drums for like 14 years. At first it was on her own but soon they found a drum teacher and she just sprouted and became the drummer she is now. She won two best drummer awards last year.
So "Z" is the soft starter for them. They will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. You will get used to being shocked and amazed by them. Pau has been known to come out from behind the drums and take front and center stage. That is always a treat. I have seen them three times live now and would love to travel to Europe right now and catch them again. I am sure many members of The Warning Army have already told you what to watch next. They all can sing and play the piano, but are also masters of their individual instruments. Their lyrics are beyond their years, probably because they started very early.
Check out their passion in their mid teens for music they wrote in their early mid teens. Their live concert at Lunario of Queens of the Murder scene is exemplary if you want passion. A concept album performance. Doesn't have the polish of their current work , but Oh God the passion!!!! For me Dani' s rendition of Crimson Queen in this concert is a lesson in laying you heart on the stage.
Wow... You are one of the best in making reactions, great quality in your observations and analysis, great job and the cherry on the cake are the girls The Warning...👍👍👍
Instant subscribe! Like many others have said, just go through the whole Teatro Metropolitan show, it all is top notch. Gonna see them live next week again and can't wait - best live band I have ever seen.
"They're performing like they've been doing it for decades." If you want your mind blown, look up their Metallica cover from when they were literally children (about a decade ago). You can literally watch them grow up as musicians here on RU-vid! Oh, and this performance wasn't a one-off. They are full-on fire with EVERY live performance! I'm 52, so I was a teen when Doro/Warlock came on the scene. The Warning makes me feel that young again, and I'm TWA for life! P.S.- When you journey further into The Warning rabbit hole (by your reaction, I think you will), you'll discover Pau (the drummer) doing lead vocals, both on and off the drums.
These girls Kill it !!! I am a 62 YO man and love listening to them as per Jose Mengin from Sirrius XM and he was right!! Plan on seeing them in Sept 2024!'
Yes they write their own songs oh About 56 or more great songs They don't know how to write a bad Song. A great way to get to know them is Enter Sandman 2014 about 30 million Views 9-11-14 years old. Then Ted Ex 2017 and then From There the Skys the Limit From there. Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Concert. There are so many ways to go and none of them are bad!!! The Warning - The Best The World Has To Offer...
The warning is a Unique rabbit hole, I often refer to The Tea-Tro Metro performance as their great hits Live show "witch it is imho :)". They also have a Concept album called Queen Of The Murder Scene that also has its own professionally done video, greatest hits 1.0 to the greats hits 2.0 of the later. Enjoy the Journey if you take the Dive Phil. thank you.
Welcome to the future of rock. You are going to love going down this rabbit hole. I see The Warning Army has arrived in your comment section. Pick a song. ANY song. Seriously, they don’t have a bad one. As all Warning fans say, “You have been Warned!”
Really nice reaction, with just enough theory to inform but not bore us silly. I also love a first reaction to these rock goddesses. The multiple looks of 😮 are always satisfying. Enjoy the trip, but stay with this concert for a time to really appreciate their performance skills.
Thank you for the kind words! That’s what I was going for with this channel. To find a nice middle ground between too technical and too shallow. Excited to check out more from this band! 🤠💜🤟
What an excellent reaction! Looking forward to more reactions to this band. So many great songs to recommend, but I’ll go with their latest song called Automatic Sun. 🤘🤘🤘
El rock de The Warning es tremendamente adictivo ,un rock moderno ,con poderosos riff metaleros ,jamas se escuchan y se ven mal ,TW es un oasis fresco en el desierto de la música actual
Paulina (The Drummer) is one small chunk of sas and attitude! If you want to see what`s she`s about you should look up "Narcisista", "Dust to dust", "23" or "Survive"...hell throw in "Disciple" aswell ;) She sings lead or shares lead with Dany in those songs. Also check out her scream of destruction in "Evolve"!
Nice reaction/analysis Phil. Anything from this concert is gold, also they have dropped 5 songs from their upcoming album Keep Me Fed. Again, liked your insight, as a performer is on point.
Yeah, you've got a DEEP dive if you want to get the full range of what The Warning are capable of. You'll get lots of suggestions for more songs, to be sure. Definitely go for the live performances, especially from the Teatro show and the new songs from the Pepsi Center, and they also did two songs live for the TV VMAs last year, with that version of "Evolve" being a particular banger. For a good sample of Pau (the drummer) singing lead and switching out with Dany (the guitarist) on lead vocals, check out Survive and also Disciple. Ale (the bassist) rarely sings leads (her choice) but she will sometimes fill in for one of her sisters if they need a break. Mostly she does harmonies and backup vocals.
Oh, you've done it now. You just watched the opener of the best concert on RU-vid. You now need to do the rest of the show, in order. That's the rules. There is no other way. You've got to. Next up "Animosity" at Teatro Metropólitan. You have been WARNED!
The Warning brought me to your channel, because... well... they're The Warning! And they're the best thing going in music today!! I've already watched all your other The Warning reactions. "Liked" them all and subscribed to your channel. You give an amazing analysis and now I'm looking forward to exploring more of your content!!! My The Warning suggestions for you: Their "Enter Sandman" cover that went viral in 2013 when they were like 12,11, and 9. And their official music video for "21st Century Blood". These will help to fill in some of their history for you. Yes... These ladies, barely in their 20s, have 10+ years of history!!!! So at the end of this video when you said "decades"... Nailed it!!
