I am from Brazil and when an Argentine soccer team plays against my Brazilian team, we can feel the energy when they sing that song. If they sang it on the show, that means they really loved it. Is their declaration of love.
I was on of the lucky ones there. This song was in the middle of the set. We were singing an adaptation from a soccer chant we do when we "adopt" a band and we want to show love, respect and support for them. As a side note, Floor was feeling under the weather that night. We couldn't tell, really. She is such a pro... Thank you so so much!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I hope EVERYBODY gives the new member in Nightwish a break and accept that it takes time to adjust and feel comfortable. All of you, listen to what Anastasia said about Marcos development. people will always judge you only have to see the FLoor versus Tarja versus Annette situation. Tuomas is very deliberate in his choices and I am sure he will be again. Also so far they have only mentioned the new person as a bass player there is no mention of vocals so they may throw back to the original line up and bring in a guest vocalist for the songs that Marco would have sung in. We will see in 6 days!!
@@101Mant Love Troy but that would be a bit sad for me as I am not a fan of Troys vocals as the major support. Too droney for me, as a background fill works perfectly but otherwise... It just wouldn't be Nightwish without the twangy Marco sound backing the female lead. After 20yrs that is almost the most distinctive sound to the Nightwish vocals! You'd have to drop half the catalog! Wow all the dueting songs would have to be dropped, no more Wish I had an Angel, I want My Tears Back and so on noooooo!! I HOPE they think a bit harder about this if it is a forever thing, if it is only for a year or so I can live with it as they won't be touring near me in Aus for ages anyway...

I am sure that the new Jukka (Jukka 2.0) will be awesome with NW. Just as good as he was with Wintersun. These are all skillfull musicians, not to worry. It will not be Marco, ofcourse not. But being different doesn't neccesarily mean worse (or bad). Give Jukka a chance.

Well, she was getting over it - it was at its worst in Bogota, when she couldn't even speak before or after the show, but still managed the whole show, and you can't tell if you don't know her normal singing - it was still better than most (any?) others could have done. Of course, pushing on through the normal touring schedule can't have done much to help her speed of recovery, but carry on she did, without missing a single show.
I believe this is like the middle of the set. The last two songs were actually The Greatest Show on Earth(very demanding, 20 minutes long epic piece of music, great reaction material wink wink) AND Ghost Love Score, and they nailed it. Btw she was sick here

I REALLY like the fact you acknowledged Floor's amazing support in the light, airy section. I saw some other commentators that totally missed how difficult that was to pull off (even though they were supposedly voice coaches), and instead criticized that it sounded a bit weak and unsupported...(SMH)
This was the song number 13/21. So they performed over 2 hours at that time 30.9.2018. The mcd/dvd (Decades) released in 2019. It was the first live album ever that peaked Finnish charts in December 2019. This particular performance is a wonderful example of interaction between the band and their audience. ⛄💃👍

yeah, Robert's right 12th or 13th in a 21song set list that ended with "Greatest Show on Earth" and "Ghost Love Score", and as far as her dancing, I did see an interview once where she was asked if she choreographed or planned her moves and she replied that mostly she just reacts to the way she feels. And Tuomas said of this tour they tried a lot of rehearsals cause he made up the play list from a lot of their old songs and Marco, Floor, and Troy had to improvise cause he wasn't sure if he even remembered how they were before that's why he smiles a lot. ha
Hey, new sub here ^^ This show was for the 20th anniversary tour. The song is in the middle of the setlist. We were lucky enough to have them pick Buenos Aires as the place to film the DVD. We love Nightwish and symphonic metal over here. The chant in the beginning is usually what we sing towards our favourite football/soccer team, but we use it to cheer for anything.
She was recovering from a flu in this concert, so she was probably not at her 100%, but the audience gave them so much energy, I'm sure it helped a lot and she absolutely loved this show. About the Marcos replacement, it's not expected to be a singer but "only" a touring bass player, accordingly with a Tuomas interview few weeks ago, will be Floor and Troy to fill Marco vocals, and he said they sounded really well (even if they rehersed only one day before Floor had to be hospitalized). I'm really curious, as Troy has a nice but really different voice, I don't know what to expect but I'm sure they will perform an amazing show.

I’ve always appreciated your vocal analysis of NightWish songs. The fact that you acknowledge difficult sings spots, and even admit that some parts might be difficult for you. So many singing reactors seem to act like everything Floor sings is just not hard, and that they can do all of it just as well as Floor.
I am as excited as you are about seeing them live later this year (hopefully 🙏). The tears in the lyrics of this song are that of childhood, basically it is Tuomas reflecting on what one loses when growing up, all the wonder and excitement (good and maybe also bad). Hence it is an uplifting song, because it is meant to bring back those wonderful moments from childhood. Nice reaction, as usual 👍🙂

I like so much your Nightwish reactions and i see on one of those reactions that you are now discovering new groups and new music. By the way, i see some of your videos and, wow, you have a great voice!! Well, i have 2 sugestions for you. I do not mind if you dont react to them but i think you need to hear this 2 groups. First one is Katatonia. I only know them in their last 3 albums. And a live acoustic performance in a church, so so awesome, is Live Sanctitude. Fantastic concert, im sure that you like that. My other sugestion cames with a little story. When i was young, in 1998, i went to a music store in Donostia(San Sebastian). Donosti Rock is the name of the store and is open yet. Is a very little store in the beautifull heart of the old town. Well, the owner have all the music that he sells on his back. All of them. In this time i like so much Helloween, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Iron Maiden..stuff like that. I like them so much in this days. Well, when the owner see me seeking something new he told me: Hi, adittu al duk nozpattere Paradise Lost?(Hey, have you here sometimes Paradise Lost?) I never hear of them and he plays the newest album in the store only for me. When i hear the first notes of the piano of Enchantement, the first son, i love it. I buy the collector box with a beautifull art works. 23 years later is one of my favouritest discs. Please, hear Katatonia and Paradise Lost, and if you did and you dont react, let me now if you like them. They are so so underrated in my opinion. I hope you the best in your live and in your music journey like a singer, you have a beautifull voice. Yep you are right - Floor is in Olympic shape, although she was recovering from a flu on this show. (could only be noticed in "Ghost love Score" - she did a more emotional version, but still hit the note") According to Floor, she can't dance at all - only this "Irish stepdance look alike". She did this on most of gigs on the world tour in different executions, often chasing Emppu and /or inviting him to join her - he escaped every time, hiding behind Troy or Marko - she did so here on this show, but it was cut out. There are fan videos showing it. They were having so much fun together and with the audience. They cleared the stage to let Floor go crazy - and she did so on several shows. Awesome - and giving a kind of personal link to the audience, mainly because you cannot make choreography to Floor, while she is not a dancer - just a kick ass super happy amateur, fricking out, in her gracious way - inviting all to dance with her. In one show she said: "Thank you, and this concludes tonight's work-out with Nightwish" drying sweat of her head, smiling all over. ** And a great reaction from you - did known that you also are a pro dancer 👍💃
No it's not the last song of the show. This happened very spontaneous :3 They all went bonkers suddenly and payed a beautiful tribute to the band and they were very happy but surprised it happened ;) 'Fucking awesome' Yes exactly!
Marco sang full out with each of the singers. He may have backed off for some songs with Annette where she had to go high but certainly did not with Tarja. Often people get a bit carried away with Floor so I would rely on your own ears over some of the comments you read. What Marco is very good at doing is changing his vocals to suit the female lead as Nightwish is a female fronted band.
Floor was in the moment. No training. When you love something so much air is not a problem. The link I sent you is about stage presence and timing. But, this is another excellent choice of reaction. Just wait there is so much more to come!😎👍
Nightwish's Party Song. So much fun to hear and see. Marco's shoes won't be able to fill anybody at first. Already not for the reason that there will be no singer but only a bassist. Means more work for Floor. Songs are either deleted from the setlist or Floor also takes over Marco's part. My guess is that almost exclusively songs from the new album will be played. Marco was hardly there singing. Troy took on a lot. I think, and this is only a logical assumption, that before the album was recorded, the idea was openly communicated within the band that Marco EVENTUALLY will leave the band and therefore the focus was much more on Troy.
Tuomas said it was communicated to the band few months before the announcement, I think November or December, so I don't think they knew it when they recorded the album. But it's clear that Marco had a less prominent role in this album compared to the last 3. Tuomas also said that the songs with Marco as lead singer will probably never more played, that means we will not listen to Endlessness in the virtual show. I also think they will perform some old songs, otherwise the show will be a little short, and they will probably chose songs where Marco was not so much involved, like GLS for example, they have a lot of choice.

The enormous difficulty is that the Goddess and the Viking sung a lot of songs together. The difference between them made it Epic. Raw power combined with Angelic power. He will be missed 😥😥😥
Ive heard of NightWish back in 2011 and never gave them a chance and man i feel stupid now cause for past 6 months ive been really learning and really getting into them and i know Floor is there 3rd singer and nothing bad with other two but girl!!! Floor is the best fit i love her to death and the ban itself is so great i love them as well!! Have you watch the virtual concert in 2021?

Never thought about her dance being borne from her training, but that would make sense given your experience with that, and Floor's dedication to her craft. I just assumed it was a folky dance to match the music.
