Yeah i agree with you on that, it is a classic rockabilly tune,.. didnt get the air play it deserves, grady’s a demon on that guitar of his,.idve loved to hear him an cliff gallup doing a jamming session, not showboating ,just rockin it up some .
Hi Randy, fans and gang. I hope you don't mind if i recommend a piece of gear here. I normally don't do this, but this is so outstanding for all of us Rock'n Roll / Rockabilly players. I'm talking about the *Keeley Memphis Sun* pedal. If haven't seen or listened to it, check it out. This brings the correct vibe and sound of the Sun Studio to your guitar playing. One of the best demos on it you will find on Mike Hermans YT channel. Disclaimer: I'm not related to or payed by Keeley nor by Mike Hermans, it's just a wonderful piece of sound shaping.
Good lesson. I was listening to Grady Martin on Spotify. All I Can Do is Cry is his most popular song on his channel. I have never heard this song. I did a Google search and came upon your lesson. I was pretty amazed to find your video (ah, the wonders of the internet). Very nice lesson Mr. Richter. Thank you! jc 8/6/22
@@ducktailcat I thank you, I fcame to your videos years ago, trying to understand better the RAB sound. And in that time every video about rockabilly was envolving Stray Cats, Setzer and al the Neo stuff. So those videos talking about classic sound was like an oasis for me. That's why I thank you, buddy. Go cat!
Hi Stefano, you'll find that one in my Udemy course "How To Play Buddy Holly" Here is a link (valid until the end of January 2020) www.udemy.com/course/how-to-play-buddy-holly/?couponCode=RR-BUDDY-202001
Hi Randy ! I've been watching your videos for a while now and I'm wondering if this is the original 50's pickguard on your Guild ? It looks brand new ! Wonderful !
Randy Richter It's amazing, your guitar is really beautiful, except the back plate ,what an aberration ahah I'm dreaming about an x440, someday maybe..
