Favorite riff by Tony Iommi? Well considering that you can literally choose between a huge amount of them, I'd have to say that for me it's a tie between Symptom of the Universe and the breakdown riff of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Which by the way is the absolute heaviest guitar riff of all time. No other guitar riff past present or future will ever be heavier than that riff.
