This made me think of a similar gamemode where each team has a collective boost tank. So one teammate uses the boost and the whole team loses it.

@@badvideos5806 I thought it would be like the boost is linked per team. Like, Leth would pick up 100 and both he and his teammate would have 100, but if his teammate boosts down to 50, Leth also only has 50, then his teammate picks up 100 and they're both back to 100.

This made me think in a mode where everyone boosts when someone boost, so for example, if i am going for a drible, someone can boost and make me miss it or if the goalkeeper is ready to defend, i can use boost to make him get out of the way

I absolutely love this. And I need to bring my buddy who takes all the boost all the time and says he can't play under 80 boost. In contrast I hardly ever use boost unless I think I need it.

Just wanted to say that you are such an inspiration. You have a unique position in the game where you are far older than the average pro base, yet you still play like you belong among the top 10 pros playing the game. I am the same age as you (26) and really enjoy playing the game, and even though I’m older than most rocket league players, you seriously give me hope that I can also be really great at this game some day

@@Leep458, same, made it to c1 recently, started one year ago, feels good. Pro tip, play at 144hz 60fps if possible, i remember i used to play at 30fps and after making the switch I went from gold 1 to plat 2.. But yeah, get more consistent, make better shots, carry your teammates and make consistent good choices and good executions and you guys should get out of plat/dia

Lethamyr, I has an idea. What if there was a way to program the boost so every time you hit the ball you are alternate having constant boosting and having no boost. Basically, chaos cause you are supersonic boosting, hit the ball, then at a super slow pace.

Can it be set/hacked where the boosts picked up by one team are given to the other? I think this could be really interesting for 1s since instead of boost starving you have to stay in the middle of the field and avoid it.

This is how a consumer economy works. Everyone shares the boost so the more it's used and the more transactions occur, a higher level of play is achieved and you have the same amount of boost because everyone is expending/earning boost. imagine a crazy game where 1% of the players had 90% of the boost

While they were joking about boost being NOS i thought it would be hilarious if there was a small amount of boost for all players, maybe 10-20 but a lot stronger boost force. So you could actually use it for a single play and be tactic about it!

This is a similar idea and so you do have the boost spots but everyone has the same boost so on kick off if someone uses all their boost then everyone would have the same as that person

Imagine a game mode where you start with 0 boost and the points you earn in match will add to your boost tank. For example, touching the ball will give you 2 boost and getting a save will give you 50 boost.

A fun game mode would be 2v2 but you share the same boost with your teammate (let me explain) If you have 50 boost, so does your teammate. If your teammate picks up a pad, you both get 62 boost etc. if your teammate gets a big pad you both get 100 boost. This could add some cool strategy to the game... if your teammate is in a 1v1 and has no boost, you can grab a big pad for them... I think it would be cool if possible

That is actaully crazy. Imagine this as a special Gamemode. Would be cool tho to exprience. Even though i know i would rage and many others too but is funny as well. Oh man. That moment when you try to air dribble and score and then you realize... oh nooo, i am out of boost because of the other players. This is insane. But there is actually a good strat behind it. Imagine you're seeing your opponent trying to arial and you just empty you full boost tank and he misses. Your opponent will ragequit in an instant.
