not to be the buzzkill but... your game can show the fps on screen and thats the gpus limit, but if you have a for example a 240hz monitor it can only display 240 fps. So if you go into settings and turn on v sync or free sync (Depending on the brand of gpu you have) that will make the game run smoother than if you just put it on unlimited fps.
