I got a whole book of features they could (and need) to add to this game. If I could shoot some ideas really quick: * A Proper Garage Menu and Ui. -Think of the cabin in the christmas updates but specifically a place for RR centered around your car. It could have multiple styles, such as a low end house garage, a mansion balcony garage, an underground spec ops garage, or even the original Rocket League item garage. I really dont like how we still have to use the Fortnite Lobby and UI while playing RR. We need RR to feel like more than just a side mode to Battle Royale. * Multiple speed classes. - Ala the CC class system from Mario Kart. Because sometimes I SWEAR these cars go so damn slow when were not drifting every 3 seconds. * Rail Grinding. - Just... hear me out. Have you ever tried to slam back onto the road from the air from a big jump, but you awkwardly land on the railing and slide off and have to fight to get back on with the boost? Well, imagine if your car could lock on and diagonally slide on certain railings, which could not only save you from awkwardly falling off a map, but potentially generate boost at the same time. * More cars. - For the love of GOD. Just adding Rocket League staples like Fennec, Dominus (classic), Merc, and even Breakout would help so much. Thats not even counting collab vehicles like the Fast & Furious vehicles, the Back to the Future Delorean, and the Bat Mobiles. Epic Games is going WAY too slow on the item intergration. They need to pick things up, and fast. * Podium Animations -Is anyone else not tired of the boring static win screen of closeups of everyones skin when we finish a race? You cant even see the skins in the cars, so whats the point?... Let the focus after a race be on the top 3-5 cars in the podium, with the winner being the center of the animation. If they really wanted, the character could appear outside the vehicle and be able to perform emotes just like in Festival. One last idea for now: AI / SinglePlayer races. - The fact there is no way to simply chill with a nice calm race against some basic low level bots, like practically every other racing game to ever exist EVER....(besides Trackmania) is tragic. Im TIRED of sweating against other players, Im in Elite rank and I HATE IT. Let me throw on some music and chill with some low level bots on Day Drifting, certainly it cant be that hard...? Thats just a handful of some of my favorite ideas, I hope you find most of them understandable.
Other gamemodes can be a good idea for this game too. For example, a mode that you need to collect coins in the map to force players to take alternate routes, tracks that changes between laps or a gamemode with power ups like Mario kart. Fortnite has tons of gadgets in his history that can translate well to a Mario kart like racing game.
Skins should be also visible ingame, like the promocional cinematics. Maybe with emotes in replays or the skins being in a 3d enviroment at the end screen, like fortnite festival.
I found it really fun at first but sadly it turns out to be terrible for competitive play because if you crash at certain places it restarts you so far forward that you can’t have a fair match.
The idea of following what Trackmania does with the community maps is awesome!! I'm Brazilian and I'm currently finishing a competitive map based on the landscapes of Brazil and I'm trying to follow the quality standard of Psyonix circuits, so I would be very happy if Epic included creator maps in this way!! Including @YourAverageBum, if there is any way to send you more information about how the map is going, I would be very happy!

Rocket Racing seriously needs Grand Prix mode. Racing for points, etc This aimless arcade racing for rank is so boring and repetitive, and also just straight up not fun after a certain level.
