@@ixclusiverc After getting the 540 2845 I had to get one that would fit the esc.. She's been runing great so far with the 2838 from me wl. red can should be cool trying.. Always enjoy your vids brother.. Constantly learning stuff... Going to try and make some popper jumps like yours soon. something that will send them higher instead of launch style.. Wish me luck..

@@reitplace4765 I rebuilt every single jump at least 10X each one. You will adjust until it feels perfect for the track.

Man thanks for the mesg brother. I'm still here. Built another section of the track...... then I got some news that I might be moving. I'm still waiting to see what going to happen. I'll post soon when I have more details. Its also pushing me to take the track to the public just have to figure out how to do it. This should all work out just might take a minute. Carbon fiber top deck and sway bars! Stock motor is plenty quick to start off with *upgrade it later if needed. My RTR's are some of my best driving cars but I do run 6200kv in them. My ride height ranges from 13mm - 15mm depending on car. Im also liking 35wt front and 30wt rear.

@@RickyD1968 Just the top deck. Shock towers aren't as strong to start off with. Plastic hubs are good just have a back up set. Keep it simple and just learn the car. The short and wide wheelbase has a very unique feel on carpet.

@@ixclusiverc The only things I have upgraded is sway bars and red aluminum hub adapters and red nuts !

Thats a great question and it really depends on the car your running it on. An emb-1with a 2850 in dirt might be good but on high grip carpet would be overkill. The 5000k on the emb-1 feels perfect so putting that same motor on a 1/12 to me wouldn't be strong enough down low. There is a rocket 390 sensored brushless for the long wheelbase that should perform better..... now that being said I don't know if the sensored set up is reliable. Off camera I had many days of glitches with the surpass. Burnt out 1 esc. I do have several set ups of this motor but only driven one of them around the track. Now I'm going test a new motor and esc same kv to see if I just got a bad combo. Non sensored tenshock 5150kv And black can lc 5300kv are at the top of my list 6200kn surpass blue can is another really good motor. Your not going to win a race because of the motor you choose, its all about choosing the right motor for your car size AND driving conditions then mastering YOUR setup. Then repeat because your car will no longer feel fast. 😁☝

@@ixclusiverc thank you for the detailed response! I appreciate it. I think I'll end up trying the 5300kv.. I'll be putting it in the truggy, and it's cheaper and seems like it'll do the job for me on a hard packed dirt track.

@@swololikesolo1625 on a Truggy i completely agree with that decision. The stock esc will run that motor but a hobbywing 60a will be much happier.

@@ixclusiverc I was 100% planning on getting the 60a esc! The 35a in my MT gets kinda hot. The 4150 kv tenshock motor is always cold. Honestly the best experience I've had with any motor, at any scale. So maybe I'll stick with tenshock 🤔 Do you notice a torque difference between the LC 5300 and tenshock 5150? The LC does have a longer can.

@@swololikesolo1625 around my track I would say they are very similar in torque but I'm sure if I had more room I would see the difference in top speed my 5300 (12b1) hits around 39mph and the 5150kv tenshock hits 35mph or so(emb-1). There is a new tenshock xl long can that just came out thats another one that might be good for the dirt you run on. Oh there is one more 2850 made by X-Team 4.0 shaft also 5300kv. I haven't tested that one but I think that covers all the truggy motor options. Everything discussed is for 2s.... Now if your running 3s battery then I would definitely stay stock motor upgrade esc and add a motor fan.

The Emb-1 is probably my all time favorite car. It has great speed strong steel diffs. Adjustable esc from Hobbywing, 2838 size motor and every part is hobby grade plastic or metal. Out of the box you really don't need changes. Reflex 14b is a good car but it definitely doesn't have that wow feeling when your driving it. Everything is plastic including chassis so the is lots of flex. Esc is not programmable and the motor is a 2440. Associated stock Transmitter and reciever feels cheap and has an input lag. All that said im absolutely sure you can tune the car do drive amazing but you have to replace all the electronics first. Then tires because stock wears out quickly. Price for value: LC Racing no question parts are really cheap and DO NOT break often. But if you find a Reflex for $100ish (that's what I would pay for one) try it out . Never owned a 14b but have worked on 2 of then and tuned one for my track on the other hand I own 10 lcracing cars Thats my honest opinion from a tech point of view, hope this helps and thanks for the question 👍.

@@leonrawautomotivedetails5785 yes absolutely there are two distributors for LC - Warren rc & Riptide rc. Both have great prices on everything and fast shipping. What your looking for is just a brushless RTR comes with everything you need minus a charger. Spend $50 for a charger and keep your lipo batteries safe. 3 of my cars are RTR and drive no different from a kit car. Absolute must is a carbon fiber top deck to keep your center drive from not bending. All metal hop up parts are not necessarily upgrades so don't worry about those. Get a few plastic spares and your set. If your running in just dirt then no sway bars but if your on street or track then use medium front and back. Get a few extra batteries from Amazon Hoovo 2s 1500mah (2x $20) is what I use but you can always go bigger. Wltoys batteries work well also. You can ask as many questions as you like buddy if I see it I will respond🙂

​@@ixclusivercdo you like the emb-1 for loose dirt over the bhc-1? I keep going back and forth on what I wanna buy at some point, already have a couple mini-b vehicles(stock rtr and brushless pro roller) and wasn't sure if bhc-1 would be similar.

@@MrJaxonD23 I'll be completely honest with you... after running both my 2wd on carpet I don't know if I would ever run them in dirt again. Emb-1 is really good in dirt if you set the correct hide hight vs terrain. I personally think the Emb-T is the most perfect mini for offroad. Yes its slightly bigger the the emb-1 but much more stable and much faster. I also like 3s in dirt if your using the stock motor on the 1. The T is completely fine stock on 2s. Going back to the BHC-1 besides carpet I really do like it in the street. I hope this helps you in your decision

Several questions... What car are you running this set up on. Lcracing model? And what tires Whats conditions do you run? (Dirt/ street) When you say hot 🔥 what temp are you talking? 2838 or 2845? I'll be honest and say all my cars run hot thats which a 25-80 amp esc. I dont run fans because I wanted to test limits of both motor and esc. 1500mah is right at about my peak temp. I'm actually going to be testing esc and heat. I don't think amp ratings are honest and want to test if thats true by temps

Sorry for the delay buddy. I actually built another section of the track... then found out I might have to move. I'm not completely sure the situation and as could imagine its not the news I wanted to hear. What this will do.... allow me to have my own local parking lot events with footage. @@ixclusiverc I do not have a Rocket rc program card but I do have a hobbywing basic program card and a hobbywing multifunction card and a Redcat program card ???
