We love a good adventure at OPE Rocks so why not head up to Grand Marais Michigan for some 15 degree rockhounding, OPE!! Besides the cold temps, the weather in general couldn't have been better for this time of year. The beach was open with some remaining ice shoves. The agates were there but lots of rocks to sort through. We did great Yooperlite hunting both nights, and found some agates, jasper, funky stuff, and even some fossils.
