Last week I received some new frames in the mail. The Rockin 572 frames. After skating my 576 frames a few weeks back with the new h-blocks I was excited to test the 572 frames in the park. So in this episode of T+R I am doing just that!
Huge thanks to @rockinframes

Inline skating is dangerous. In some situations, I may choose to skate
without protective gear at my own risk. I highly encourage the use of protective gear.

I recently bought a pair of M12 for a Rockin 580 for a wizard setup. The flex in the M12 taught me I already use my ankle muscles to hold myself and now I'm not as mental about ankle support on my other skates anymore. If anything I love how I can maneuver the M12s like no other skate setup I have. I strongly believe better skate support is for the untrained ankles.

Loved the review! I agree 💯 on the fore/aft landing benefit with the longer frames. I far prefer them flying around in bowls as well. Sounds like the aluminum natural finish works better overall for soul grinds. Thanks for all the info on these!

It's cool to see these long frames tested in the park. I can't wait for these Endless Arc's to ship for my new 909's. I was at a local park today with the stock frames and it felt great after 20+ years. Anyway, the Endless frames I ordered don't have an h-block option but I think one could be fabbed. Really seems versatile to pop the middle wheel out and block in. Thanks for your thoughts.

Why are people riding these UFS frames with built-in heel lift on shells with even more heel lift? How much forward lean is too much forward lean? I tried them on a Sway and thought it was absurd.
@ThirtyandRollin

Heel lift is a very personal thing. I come from a skiing background so for me heel life is a must or else I feel like I am falling backwards.

Great skating and decent video. I notice when you slow it down it gets really choppy. (*EDIT:* NVM, you already seem to understand how slow motion works, I must be on the wrong video) If you want good, smooth slow-motion you need to raise your recording frame rate and then slow it down by plopping it in your final frame rate editing timeline and hit 'conform by speed.' (*EDIT:* everything from here on is still useful, though) Also, if you don't want to change camera settings and you just want to go plop the camera down, skate or do a trick in that area and move on; the single most versatile setting would be 50fps with a 1/60th of a second shutter speed. *Long story short* 25p is superior to 24p, wholesale. The only time 24p is needed is if you're putting your footage on a Bluray or delivering it for NTSC broadcast. 50p with a 1/60th shutter is the single most versatile frame rate if you just want to shoot and go. It's universally anti-flicker, has natural motion blur as HFR footage and decent motion blur as 25p footage, is already slow motion if you slow it down 2x or conform it to 25p, and being a high framerate, if you use it as-is in an 50p timeline it'll be buttery smooth and looking exactly like real life. Additionally, IMO you should edit, finalize/export, and upload in a 50p timeline as a 50p video, even if you drop half the frames and then double what's left, as that should theoretically make the 25p stuff smoother than 25 in a 25, and also, if you auto-expose, set it to shutter priority mode so it doesn't adjust shutter speed for exposure and therefore fk up your motion blur. One more thing, if you're OKAY with changing camera settings while skating or at home for talking/narration portions of the video, and still like the lower frame rates (IE, you don't like 30), 25fps at 1/40th shutter looks damn good, and is also universally anti-flicker. Actually, here's the short list of natural motion blur(for real-time playback), universal anti-flicker framerate and shutter speed combos. 24p 1/50th shutter 25p 1/40th and 1/60th shutter 30p 1/50th shutter 50p 1/60th shutter And 60p 1/100th shutter is universally anti-flicker, but it's *not* natural motion blur, as the shutter speed is above the NMB range while not being close enough to the frame rate like the 50p example is. 100fps 1/120th would be universally anti-flicker AND good enough motion blur compared to the frame rate, but nobody watches HFR footage at THAT high of a rate, and there's no common format that supports it, anyway, ESPECIALLY youtube in your case, so anything over 60 is strictly for slow motion. And one last tip, make sure all of your footage is "all-i" instead of "ipb" or whatever your camera's equivalent is depending on brand. "Ipb" style recording records one keyframe, then a few frames with only the "differences" between frames recorded, then one or a couple fake frames before moving onto the next keyframe. This can make motion look a bit choppy, whereas "all-i" records a new keyframe for each frame of footage. It takes up more space on your SD cards and whatnot, but it's worth it to make literally any movement (even just a talking face) look that much more natural. Many people are okay with "ipb" style for talking head type videos, but I'm not, and if there's any kind of significant motion, especially if the camera/background is moving, then you NEED an "all-i" type setting.

This is not technically an aggressive frame but has the ability to crossover for some tricks and aggressive skate styles.
