I watched this speech live on TV . I was doing my graduation then . Everyday at the meeting of Vidyarthi Parishad we had a discussion on the current national issue . A storm of nationalism was blowing at that time . Atal ji , Advani ji, Sushma ji, Yasvant ji, Murli Manohar ji, Pramod ji and many great national leaders were trying to save nation from Congress . Today I am watching it again . Pramod ji was a great speaker and an genius politician . India will never forget this leader who was one of them who started the nationalist storm . Even today , BJP has such leaders . Salute to all of them .
@Soham Banerjee Definitely sir , that great day will come soon when dynastic politics will come to a final end . Indian history will be revised and students will read in books about the true national leaders and true freedom fighters in place of the false and marketed ones .
It amazes me how the whole house listened to a 40 min speech from the opposition with such patience. The reason why we don't see such scenes today is because there's not a single good senior opposition orator that will match the intensity of BJP leadership

At that time Modi and Shah were confined to Gujarat only ... while Pramod Mahajan and Gopinath Munde (duo) were the most influential leaders along with Nitin Gadkari ... If Pramodji was alive, he would have become PM. And Gopinath Mundeji would have been the Home Minister. That Duo would have been classic than the current duo.

Im so proud that maharastra has produced so many great versatile National leaders like Pramod mahajan, Balasaheb thakary, Sharad pawar, Nitin Gadkari, Gopinath munde, Manohar Parrikar, Shivraj Patil, Shrimati Pratibha Patil, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar,Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and many more, but unfortunately no one became PM of india, its optimum desire to see Maharastrian PM of india, it never happens in 8 decades since indias independence, fortunately we saw Shrimati Pratibha tai Patil as President of india from 2007 to 2012, that was great, but when will we see Maharastrian PM of india.

He was all but a people's person. He never could enjoy popular support of masses which was very evident from his poor electoral record across the yrs. Backdoors was the usual route for him. Highly intellectual though and his organisational skills were one which got him a place amongst the BJP's top brass.

Pramod Mahajan would have been the PM had he been alive. He was the Defense Minister in the First Atal Government. A true technocrat and a moderate conservative. I vote for Congress as it's a moderate-liberal party but if Mahajan was the PM candidate, I would support BJP.
