I couldnt finish this game, the final boss was too hard for me. But you managed to finish them all perfectly! So awesome!

damn. this is impressive. just played through this game again after many years and after thinking the game was a cakewalk with X, I decided to play through with Zero as well and actually found it quite challenging. I was wondering if it was actually that much harder with Zero or if I just sucked with him lol. Now I see that Zero does indeed have quite a few tools at his disposal. I kept forgetting he has a double jump. Great vid man.

I just beat X4 as Zero yesterday, after putting it off a lot. The game is very difficult and I had to 100% it to beat it. It was still super fun, love the music and the cutscenes too. I have it ranked along side the original Megaman X. One day I will beat it as X.

I always love that ending credits music.

when i was 10 years old, i can beat the final boss without taking damage (well, almost), and now i cant even win dragoon lmao

God, these endings always tore me apart. The bloodshed, the suffering, the misleading, all because of Sigma. He tricked these people into thinking they were in danger, which led to them defending themselves against a danger that didn't exist until their very last breath. This game probably has one of the most tragic stories I've ever played through.

Ah this brings back memories. As a kid, playing this gave me much joy and frustration (coz I couldn't figure out how to beat Sigma). Classic.

I can see that you have fun in in the full sense of the word,impressive skills!I finished this game,of course not with perfect run but i asure it was with no cheat codes and 100%,all X parts and Black Zero.

The first stage looks like some kind of Street Fighter tournament with all that healthbars and 1v1 hand-to-hand battles. I guess that's what makes Zero's gameplay so great.

Totally flawless. Going to try to use your technique while fighting Sigma in the third round. For some reason I always get the blue power ranger head in the way, when Sigma is on the ground. I’m guessing positioning is everything.

The stark difference between X's & Zero's weapon weakness to their disposal is how it's logically accurate and how it behaves. For X Web Spider gets cut off from his "web" when shot with twin slashers. But it has to be exactly shot at spider's spinerette. It will cause him to drop over. Cyber Peacock suffers from attacks that can pass through him, when soul body is used. Storm Owl flies and it's obvious that he suffers homing or lock-on attacks like aiming laser. Even though Magma Dragoon's element has advantage over wind, double cyclones are strong enough to blow him & slice him away. Jet Stingray is obviously water-based. So, ice-based attacks will slow or freeze him down. Frost tower effectively blocks his drones. Split Mushroom is somewhat bio-organic and can still be harmed with string electric currents. His movements also give away since he sticks to the walls and shooting him with lightning web is like striking a lightning rod. Slash Beast is ground-based and moves fast. Which is why, a ground hunter is the best choice of weapon incapacitate a raging beast who relies solely on mobility and power. Frost Walrus is obviously weak against fire, while he habitually jumps and slams at you. Which is why rising fire is agood match againts attacks from above; or, effective againts airborne enemies. Colonel is weak againts ice because X can use frost tower to drop it on him, while ice also short circuits electricity. Double being weak againts double cyclone has something to do with his apperance. The weapon shreds his jelly-like body. Which is why he create drones in defense. General may be a towering reploid but his head is his weakness. Twin slashers' rang can make up for the gap. It's also strong enough to slash through. Sigma1 is obviously weak to fire, since his cloack will burn Sigma2 is weak against lightning web because it limits his movements and traps him, even if he doesn't flinch. Sigma3.1 is weak against soul body because it can pass through at a safer distance. Sigma3.2 is weak against ground hunter, since it's ground-based and his gaping mouth gives it away. For Zero Pretty much he relies on using his z-saber and techniques. Only a few show weaknesses evidently, when struck with a certain move. Cyber Peacock is instead weak to ryuenjin because of his habit of appearing above. Storm Owl suffers a wide-screen attack with Rakukouha, since it's hard for him to avoid the projectiles. Jet Stingray obviously suffers from ice-based attacks + attacks from above crashing down on him. Split Mushroom will suffer from electric shock, since Raijingeki can pierce through his clones. Frost Walrus is similar to X's case too. Suffers from fire-based attacks meant to counter attacks from above. Colonel suffers attacks from above while short circuits from ice too. Iris's core that flies out, if enough damage is inflicted, is weak to Ryuenjin. Similar to Walrus' case, only that the core hovers and it's logical to attack it with techniques meant for airborne targets. Sigma1 is also weak to fire for an obvious reason. Sigma2 is weak to Rakukouha because the wide-screen attack hits everything. The closer he is, the better. Sigma3.1 will be weak againts Zero's Ryuenjin, sice it's above-ground. Sigma3.2 will be weak against Shippuga, since he can close the gap quickly and slash Sigma's mouth.

How did you manipulate Ground Sigma's AI to use the wind blow attack?

...you know, seeing jet stringray's arena really makes me realize these boss rushes should've been time attack starting from x2 and beyond. For jet stringray for example, the battle is in a acid arena and both him and zero/x take damage from the water, storm eagle could've been like based on like the ship was crashing to the land, same as storm owl, magma dragoon, you were dueling platform to platform, if you reach the top you instantly win, basically test the player's skill how much you grow through unique twists, instead of this cliche tradition. The X challenge gave a genuine idea of how they do it
