I was thinking the same thing. I've unsubscribed to channels cause I get annoyed they spend half the video teasing whatever they want to say. If they make interesting content you will still stick around after the news. To me it feels like they are insecure. Thankfully Rocko and her sidekick Forest are entertaining. Irresponsible dog ownership. This guy should have done better looking after his dog! Like keeping his dog on a leash until the surroundings were deemed to be safe! I feel so bad for this innocent dog!

I have so much respect for anyone who takes the time out of their own lives to clean up garbage and maintain trails. It's a ton of work, cost and risk to do it. Really opens up opportunity for so many others to enjoy areas they otherwise would have avoided due to overgrown trails or dirty areas. You're a good man, Foresty.
I'd like to share an idea we use in rescue, for a 'cover' to help keep Rocko's bandage clean, that involves a men's athletic/tube sock, and a pair of scissors, or very sharp blade. Lay the sock flat (side view) and cut down the middle of the tube area until you reach the 'heel' area. Slip the sock over her foot, bring the two halves created by the cut straight up, one half will go up and around the opposite side of her neck and the other half will go straight up from the leg with bandage...and tie. It will help keep the foot, bandage and leg clean and dry. You're a great pupster papa! Be well and be safe.

I honestly enjoy these low key, day in the life videos as much as the exciting hiking ones. I miss living in my van, puttering around, repairing or improving things.

Oh no poor girl! Good thing she's got a great owner!!! Good on you forestry.... We have a cat that suffered a similar paw injury(not in the forest) but ended up getting infected so quickly they took his whole arm off.... So good that you took her right away things can get bad quick!!

VAN WIRE INFO! Simon, I have a 2006 Chevy Avalanche that had the same type of electric problems. Turns out it was the humidity building up in the cab when it rained. This affected less protected connections inside the cab. Blowing the fan vents and a few well placed absorbers fixed the issue about 95 percent of the time. Hope this helps. Prayers out for Rocko first thing!
Your next adventure sounds fun. Throw in a helicopter right to the top and make it the quickest summit. LOL Poor Rocko. She is tough and will health quickly. I had to smile when you mentioned Rocko going from a ping pong to a potato after her stitches. But, I have an energetic wiener dog and it does break your heart to see them a shadow of their former selves due to an injury. Rocko is a trooper and due to your quick action will be back out there chasing those squirrels in no time. I could see it in her eyes!! haha
