I don't understand your point, there are two types of people in this world, people who try to make everything sound better even when it isn't, and people who just say it how it truly is. Ever ask someone who you can tell is in a bad mood how they're doing and they tell you "im fine" or "im alright" when you know they clearly aren't fine or alright? That is the first type of person I described. The 2nd type of person I described would say it straight up: "I've had better days" or something like that. The point is both types exist at the same time in this world we live in, some people just say things straight up, some filter their words to try to fit a narrative in their head. @@LtPowers People who existed before the prevalence of smartphones, which this most likely was (they could see themselves, meaning it was most likely a smartphone being used in selfie mode for a long short for whatever reason). Used to be a novelty when you'd walk into a store and the display cameras would put your up on the nearby display TVs so you could see yourself, and they probably don't really interact with people who never put their phones down these days.

2:43 important to note: They don't collect the leaves from forests, as that would damage the eco system, instead they use leaf litter from cities, as it is considered waste either way. If you go on their website and scrool down they explain how they source their materials and how they turn the leaves into paper. I once was camping by myself, and could swear I was seeing a UFO fly over my head. After maybe the 5th time I saw it, I realized it was a firefly. I’d assume it’s not as durable, since leaves are not nearly as strong as wood. It would also be much more pricey to dispose of all the woodcutting and processing equipment and replace them.

@@DiseaPoto I guess a rapid change would be financially worse than what it’s like now but if we slowly start to bring leaf paper into classrooms or workplaces where it doesn’t need to be as thick/durable and left some tree cutting for thicker art paper then it would be better in the long run. The worst thing about cutting trees is that it’s mainly to get space so trees aren’t being replanted.

Well, it is is essential for the ecosystem to get back all that elements that trees sucked out and put into their leaves, notably potassium and phosphorus. So, maybe it is a good idea to collect leaves from trees in like parks and urban landscaping, where you can fertilize the soil after that, but it's impossible to make that large-scale without harming nature because forests will be dead after a few years or maybe decades of collecting leaves. Maybe it is steel better than just cut them, but it's not an absolute solution.
