Ethan Borden “Original”? I thought it was a 2012 re-record (even the on-screen year shows as 2012 instead of the release of the original, which was in 1983).

+Texy88 No it's definitely the original, listen to the rerecord and you'll hear the difference. Although I am curious as to how they got the original version but licensed the rerecord

+Texy88 I know, it might say 2012 but it's definitely the 1983 version. Joes voice is a touch raspier in the rerecord, plus the guitar sound is a bit different, I know that's the gameplay, but the one thing that I figured out was that at the beginning there's a bit of a "yoda laugh" at the beginning, it's not there on the rerecord, listen the first 5 seconds of each you'll see what I mean. Either way I'm glad they put more Def Leppard in this game.

Rolando Rodriguez Due to Jimmy Page’s stances regarding music rhythm games (he tends not to like them) and his reluctance to hand out the original master tapes, I would be surprised if any Led Zeppelin DLC will happen anytime soon, if ever.

It looks like its coming to that, unfortunately.

Dmania1000 It is only in the alternate lead that you get the violin charted for guitar; the default lead arrangement just continues with the finger-picking.

demonelame Unless Axl Rose and Slash can somehow patch up their differences, I would be very surprised if any of their earlier classics in particular will ever be granted permission to appear in this game. Axl’s reluctance to allow Guns ’n’ Roses songs probably stems from the appearance of Slash in “Guitar Hero III: Warriors of Rock”, with claims that Axl permitted the inclusion of “Welcome to the Jungle” to that game on the understanding that the game must not have any references to Slash or his other band, Velvet Revolver. Sadly not only did a Slash-style character appear quite prominently on the cover art, but also three Velvet Revolver songs were also released as DLC for the game. He also seemed to have claimed that “Sweet Child o’ Mine”, which appeared in “Guitar Hero II”, was improperly used to promote GHIII:WOR. Given that songs from both Slash and Velvet Revolver have also appeared in the “Rocksmith” library, a wild guess suggests that we are more likely to win the lottery than for him to grant permission to allow his songs into the game...

Francisco Sepúlveda rocksmith was never meant to be a bi-annual series. And that's just fine, Ubisoft's PR could use some display of patience.

Francisco Sepúlveda We only really got the existing 2014 edition because of constructive criticism over the original game (which, let’s face it, was quite fundamentally flawed in annoying ways and had a cumbersome interface). By comparison there are far fewer complaints about this version (just the lack of sweep-picking tutorials and music theory slightly blight the newer game); even the songs take a fraction of the time to load compared to having to wait for at least thirty seconds to a minute in the first game!

Could you just imagine if we get to play with the ION Drums rocker from Rock Band 3 too in the next game?!? It will be Epic!
