fuck off dude, if you have a real amp, use THAT! You can buy a so called DI (direct input) box, and with that you can split your guitar signal, one goes to the real tone cable, one to your AMP. After you got that, the only thing left to do is mute the guitar in the in-game mixer. Then the game hears your clean tone so it can guess what notes and chords youplay, and you hear a real kick-ass sound from your amp. The biggest benefit of this is that your latency is 100% GONE, and you can't achieve that any other ways. Thrust me, you will really feel the difference

I'm no guitar player, but I figured he could play like that because the guitar would play the same sound either way. He probably did it so that his fret hand doesn't have to move around so much

Would the F major 7 from that site work? I am having a hard time playing the F Barre without having it sound awful and making my hand feel cramped

@@et12448 F barre chord is not so hard if you don't actually fret the low E string as that requires the most power. Using it is practical only because muscle memory probably already knows (or it's going to know at some point) the barre chord shape so you can switch to it much faster, and also because it's just that much more optimal to not fret the high E and B string with your fingertip, but with your actual finger. If you still have a hard time playing it, it's maybe worth to check out the string height at the NUT of your guitar, maybe it's too high, so the nut needs to be filed down a bit. If you are not that crafty type, you might consider to take it to a guitar shop for a full setup
