Rockstar Energy Original vs OG flavor 

I actually just found the OG "Throwback Edition" for the first time since they changed the flavor to the new stuff. It tasted somewhat similar to what I remember but my can had a very weird metallic aftertaste too that I most definitely don't recall tasting before it was changed. The last time I had it was in a 24oz and I can definitely say that there's no way I would of finished a 24oz with a weird metallic aftertaste. So it makes me wonder if it's a bad batch, or they changed something, or...?? With that metallic weird taste it definitely makes the new stuff taste light years better. I'm gonna probably message Rockstar and ask about that!

OG Throw is bomb. Makes the unoriginal Original seem… unoriginal. Too sweet. Throwback for life.

Note: the 2001 "Original" did always have a metallic aftertaste, I kinda like it.

Pepsi change it when they bought it for a few billion. Then sales dropped 40%

Gold can is the True Original! Black can is the shitty new formula.

I usually drink the original monster or original rockstar but today at my 7-11 they only had this “OG Flavor” rockstar. I honestly can’t tell the difference between the original and the throwback edition unless I had them side by side so I’m curious.

I dislike the new "Original" but hope they bring back the "OG" Juiced. Remember that one? It was Mango Orange Passionfruit and came in a metallic orange can.

They tried to make it taste like the very first 2001 blend I guess, over the years the blend had the same base taste and changed little by little.

Ahh yess cough syrup flavor was the best at the time. 😂

I prefer the OG, not a big fan of the berry taste 💯
