Rocktol ST02 knife multitool unboxing/overview/tests 

This is a nice EDC tool. Half knife, half multitool! There are all the necessary tools. Blade and scissors cuts, screwdriver turns, opener opens cans and bottles of cold beer. 😏 Good! Compact size and weight. Convenient to use. The only minuses are that the bit driver does not have a real lock, and there is no magnet inside, so it does not hold ordinary bits... and the blade steel could be of a slightly higher class. I've been EDCing one of these for a couple of months now. I normally carry a multitool and a folding knife. Reasoning that a 'knife with benefits' would be even better, I swapped out the knife for this Rocktol. The reality is that I never use it. It doesn’t make a particularly comfortable knife, and I usually end up either using the one on my multitool, or the small SAK on my keychain. And obviously, if I need the functionality of a multitool, I just use the multitool. So basically, this is a really neat answer to a question I’m struggling to come up with. Nothing against the tool itself. It’s well made and works exactly as advertised. I just haven’t found a good use case for it yet. YMMV.

Nice video! Apparently, a 6x3mm or 6x2mm magnet in the bit driver will stay without glue, and will allow retention of double-sided bits.

2 times longer than a SAK swiss army knife. That opener piece is on the wrong side , you put it in the other side and the knife gets jn the way. Check out the SAK in a shop, the can opener take a photo of it . Have proven the original Letherman can opener to be opposite hand to the task as well . That little finger grabs under the rim of the can and you lift the knife for the blade to cut under force if your grab from the little finger & and move in the opposite direction, blade leading and knife body following 😊

Do you think this could be modded to remove the blade and use a Leatherman Diamond file?

On mine, deploying the smaller tools is extremely difficult. That whole section is so tight, I'm wrecking my nails just trying to get them out. Even then, they all stick together. Does this loosen up over time?
